Here ya go! Love how the color changes depending on the lighting. Had all windows tinted & ceramic coating done in these pics. I just installed the Eibach 2.0 Coilover kit w/ JBA UCAs and a few other small items. Going for an alignment this week and will be throwing on my wheels/tires. I have the black Pro front and rear valances to add also. Little nervous having to take off the rear bumper to do the back one but I think the black looks so much better than the silver on the AGs.

@Sandman317 post those pics when you black out the valances. I’m thinking of doing the same or I might just have a local wrapper dude wrap in flat black. I might just winch it with one of those inserts where the silver valance resides. There are few choices even with the sensor thingy there.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
AG is the ultimate overland color.

All in all, I dig the color. Especially with black valences. I do agree about the color looking surprisingly different in different lighting.

I was very fortunate to find a Lunar Rock Pro last year. I really like the AG color. I have a soon to be 19 year old son that is about to enter the Army Ranger Assessment and Selection Program (RASP) with the intent to become a Army Ranger. He is really interested in a AG 4R or Tacoma. I am trying to convince him the 4R is the way to go. Hoping to find a AG ORP for him once he successfully completes his training. Not looking forward to doing another 4R search, but this 4R will be much cheaper than the college bills I have spent on his two brothers. The Army Green will be a very fitting color for him!

Congratulations. You must be very proud. When the 4Runner comes his brothers will be jealous.

Yes, we are very proud of him to have embraced that challenge while he had many easier options! I was wondering about how his Army brothers would feel about this young buck having a new 4R. But, his college education will now be paid for by Uncle Sam should he chose so. Money we allocated for his education can go towards a vehicle if that is what he wants. He still has some hurdles to climb! Thanks for the kind words!

Getting this thing built to my liking now. Sure am glad I went with AG! Love the color and hardly see any of them around my area.

I actually had all windows tinted. 15% on the two front, 30 on the rear, and 10 on the hatch. Then 50 on the windshield.

Bought OEM overlays from BAM Wholesale parts. That’s where I bought the TRD skid as well.

Wish I could've bought a 4R Inferno. Love that color so much. But looked more for magnetic gray as I really like the look. Settled on black because it ended up being a deal I couldn't pass up. But all the army greens I have seen in person are pretty dang cool. So, for me, I went with what was the best deal. All 4Rs are fantastic vehicles regardless of color.

I saw a 2020 Army Green Pro yesterday with no roof rack, modest lift, 285's and bronze wheels - it was stunning!

Throwing in my vote for the AG :) Always get a lot of compliments on the color! It pops during the day and looks almost black at night.

The drab colors are hard for me to digest. I did see a cobalt blue looking thing that looked good artistically, but didn't swing it for me as a car color.

I do like the high contrast white car with black (but keeping them clean is impossible), I actually like Mazda's metallic velvety red, but for paint longevity, silver is my favorite. I like the magnetic gray, I've had two cars with it, but it is noticeably hotter with direct sunlight. I also carry a fair amount of OCD when it comes to swirl marks and imperfections. Black is completely eliminated because of its propensity to show all of it.

For the 4Runner, I have liked the metallic forest green from ages ago, haven't seen it in a while as an optional color. Actually, I would like to see the Prius C mist blue color or the regular Prius seaglass green color available on a 4Runner.

    download_20220630_212529.jpg

If money were not an issue, I do like the PPG flip paints, paints that contain microsized holographic flake in them. I would also, again if money were not an issue, not mind a sunset colored car, like a guitar. Red at the bottom and gradiently going up to Yellow at the top. Often, I will say that would be a good guitar color referencing a car paint job. Candy (metallic silver with a translucent coat of a color on top) colors usually look good on cars... Of course, the tradition is in the early years of solid body guitar mass production, they would use car paints.

A couple years ago I would’ve agreed with you but the modern non-metallic colors have slowly have gained favor with me to a point that I told the salesman the two current TRD colors are the only ones I would consider.
I wanted something unique but not gaudy. Army Green is a particularly love/hate hue. I’m a senior citizen and about half of my senior friends think it is stunning and the other half are traditionalist and would prefer a conventional metallic color. It sure will make it easy to find in a parking lot! I liked the Cement color the best but it is no longer available.

Way back when German cars were actually good, the variety of colors on VWs were somewhat similar to the new Toyota selections. Back then, if there was a scratch or discoloration you could buff and it would magically disappear. Clear coats changed that whole thing the paint got thinner ☹️

Conversely, metallic paints way back when were awful. Now, I think about sunlight and heat deflection...
