    If they're real issues and not a nuisance. End of the day you're driving a truck-based platform designed at the turn of the century. Would you like more sources of anxiety for your 4Runner? There are many.

    Well issues are issues! You say "nuisance" and I say thanks for also being so helpful!! If no one is willing to help with any issues then how is this community supposed to exist?
    Anyway I am done with the topic. I do thank the OP for starting this thread but it went a little off subject! (No more replies from me on this thread!)

    This vibration problem is pretty easy to fix. The plastic mounting pins come loose over time but they are really hard to get out. Just buy 3 rubber garden hose washers from a hardware store. Squeeze them over the head of the plastic fasteners. This removes the play and the rattling sound. Whoever is sitting in the rear seat behind the driver will thank you for the peace and quiet.
