    Oooh look, another mod.....

    It pains me to say this but, I agree with you. I'm big on using analogy's to get my point across, so here's another one:

    If I suddenly decide to eat at a restaurant that you've been frequenting for years and I have terrible experience I can't "cancel" or condemn the place. Sure, maybe the food was shit or the service was awful but should that negate the hundreds of positive experiences you and countless others have had? No.

    I have hated raptor lights even when they were on the Ford Raptor. "Back in my day" (Yeah, I sound old as shit saying, but so what)...they were called CLEARANCE LIGHTS and they were only on 18 wheelers or F350 Dually's. Now they're a fashion statement. Maybe that's why I hate them. They've gone mainstream and are considered hip or in vogue.

    Too many to list & Worth every penny!
    @Borracho Loco

    I also am old enough to remember when there were white lights that were installed in the center of the grills, they were called safety lights IIRC.
    But that was in the 60’s when I was a kid.

    Now, Borracho Loco…..I didn’t even try to be hip or in vogue.
    Must have come naturally since the era I was raised in!

    I never really liked the way raptor lights looked. Especially the yellow ones. Even now when I see yellow raptor lights I think....man...I really have the white version of that...My wife saw some white ones and really liked them and asked if we could put them on our car. I did, but with a switch so I could turn them off when I drove the 4runner.

    But in combination with the baja light bar's yellow running light AND white raptor lights, it's sort of a unique look that I like and they grew on me so i stopped turning them off when I got in the car. I especially like that car REALLY see me and less people pull out in front of me and slow cars seem much more likely to move out of the way. To that end I like them. They do look very gaudy IMO.

    I am very surprised that raptor lights get so much hate when other things don't. Like aftermarket lights or ditch lights, or any lights (because most wont ever get used). IMO they all deserved to be grouped with raptor lights.

    People like modding their car. I always appreciate when people do especially when it's something I don't like. Good for them.

    In the case of the Raptor, they are mandated by the DOT due to the width of the vehicle. Same reason you see them on the Ram version.

    I’m willing to bet the majority are operator error.
