DC2s are definitely nasty. But so is that blingy junk Paul posted up, that crap belongs on brodozers with ten inch body lifts and stacks out the bed, not a classic Toyota 4wd. What you need is a nice set of wagon wheels or soft 8s, that's what you need. :headbang:

Yes they are very nice and extremely strong. They are well priced too. Well not the beadlocks , they're $310 apiece. Clean, simple designs. Definitely not blingy! If u want bling, get some Moto-Metal, RBPs, or Metal Mulisha. Thats what the brodozers run out here. Now that's some blingy crap. Checkout Riff Raffs ride. He's running Methods. On here, checkout LTDSC's Methods.

They look sick on your buddy's Tacoma. Although those are the NVs and I'm pretty sure they're not actual beadlocks. The first pic I posted are actual beadlocks. Which would look awesome on your rig Andy btw... ;)

They are actual beadlocks, I would not have called them that otherwise. He had a great time mounting the tires!

I would love a set of raceline monsters, they are sexy IMO. But I'll probably end up with some DIY beadlocks eventually

image.jpg I was looking at the bead area and I didn't see the clamping surface teeth like on the 101s. He has the 105s, not the NVs. My bad. Racelines are the shit too. I'll keep my steelies for rockcrawling, but I want some A/Ts and methods for DD and everything else.

These are good choices to have Aram! So what's your budget? Btw, I too picked up a Corolla. A '99 with 58K miles on it, one owner AZ car for $2500. It was so nice I couldn't pass it up.

Yea they are, I really like those methods. My budget is around 500-700. My corolla is a 90. I bought for gas mileage and to learn 5spd, I'm loving it so far. I got it for $500 with 236k on it. You got a helluva deal on yours Paul.

That's a pretty healthy budget son! You should be able to get something really nice. Is this just for rims? Or for rims and tires?

So far just for rims. In a few paychecks I'll have the budget to get some wrangler duratracs in the 33x12.50 size

image.jpg @Aram The double standard does come in 15x8. In matte black or with the machine finish street loc. $152 each. Best price was from their website directly. Better than Amazon.

That's a pretty good deal Aram. Plenty of room in the budget to even have 'em powdercoated any color. Although I'm not a big fan of 15x10s. Too heavy. 12.5" wide tires will kill your contact pressure. That's why we run 10" wide tires. If you're at Glamis then, u want to 'float', but its strictly deep sand. For everything else, narrower is better. Your engine will thank u for it.
