Thanks man, it's getting there slowly but surely. I'm not sure, I want ones that are lower profile like yours. I've looked at some by RCI and those seem decent. I'll tell you that I'm surprised at the price of some of this off road stuff. I thought for sure it would be less expensive than my BMW mods but NOPE! haha

C4 makes a nice slider also. They have a couple options. Haha seriously. I came from a G35 and with the 4runner I can only buy one mod a year haha

Oh, I forgot about C4, I will have to check out their options. I know bro, I'm right there with you. What's your next mod?

I think I'm going to put it in an ARB differential kit. It's a pretty cheap mod that I think every rig should have. I trek through water often and I've been fortunate to not have any problems. I don't want to wait til my luck runs out haha. Then I might do a body mount chop to fit some bigger tires, but that is still up in the air.

Ah I came across that mod last night and it seems like something I should do also. Several of the trails I do in the area have fairly deep water crossings. Is the body mount chop the one where you cut the front bumper? I'd love to run 35's.

Body mount chop is when you cut a piece right next to your front mud flap and weld on another piece of metal. I know it sounds bad but I haven't read of any problems. It's needed if you want to run bigger tires. I had to cut like 1/4" off my front bumper to fit my 285/70/17. I'm thinking of going 285/75/17 for a taller tire.

Would you need to do that if you were running spacers? A buddy of mine is running 295/70/17/s and I don't think he did a body chop.

It all depends on caster I believe. If you can get an alignment with +4 degrees of caster, that'll bring your tires towards the front bumper more. I have camburg upper control arms and I don't think those will give me enough positive caster. The JBA high caster UCA will. Some people clear the tires and some don't. I prefer not to chop, but tire fitment is a tricky thing

Interesting. The whole offset thing is really confusing to me still but also interesting. I'm still running stock UCA's. It's kind of annoying how jeeps can fit bigger tires without as much hassle. But I'd still take a 4runner any day!
