I just wanted to introduce myself into this forum. This is my first 4Runner and I'm loving it so far. I've owned pretty much all bmw's up until now. I got a bunch of mods planned for this thing. Oh nice man I was hoping there would be someone else in this area. I'm new to this whole world and it would be fun to hit some trails with a fellow 4R member.

 

Yall should follow Scorpion Offroad Concepts from Cleveland TN. They do trail runs every once in a while out in coppinger cove/ prentice cooper/ AOP. Sammy and John who run the shop are good guys.

It’s a shame you just missed their customer appreciation day this past weekend. They do a lot of Jeep stuff but can get lots of Toyota things also.

 

Yeah I had no idea they were even around here. I might have to stop by their shop one day and meet them.

 

prentice cooper side trails opened today. With your lift you should be all good to hit everything there easily.

 

Oh really? That's awesome, I'll have to go check it out. My lift is pretty minor at a 2.5in so I'll probably to stick to the novice trails until I can see what this thing is capable of.

 

That’s plenty! I have Bilstein 6112 on mine, haven’t taken it out yet, but I ran it all in my Tacoma with 5100’s so I know you can handle it.

 

I wish I knew the exact setup I had. The previous owner had it that way and all I can tell is that its from Toytec. Next time you go, I'd love to tag along!

Oh awesome, they make some cool wheels! They seem to be more unique than SCS and Icon that everyone seems to run.

 

I see them often around where I live actually. Many tacos have them. I wouldn't mind getting a pair of SCS, but I'm thinking I'll rub the body with the offsets that they have on their wheels

 

Interesting. I don't see them much out here in TN but it could be a regional thing. I rub now since I put my SpiderTrax spacers on. I did some trimming and will likely do the fenderliner mod. New wheels will probably be the last thing I do, unless a sweet deal pops up. I have sliders, rack, ditch lights and winch to get done first.

 

Your rig is looking good dude. Do you have certain ones in mind? I have Rocky road sliders on mine. They have a pretty slim profile, but they do the trick.
