Well? What’s the verdict, did you get one?

I too was searching for that ‘perfect’ color a few years ago. Instead, I opted to get the vehicle that had all the options I wanted, without consideration for the exterior color.
I got exactly what I wanted, then went and had vinyl wrap installed in just the color I wanted. (And yes, AG is available from many suppliers).

Save yourself the headache of finding the rainbow farting unicorn.

My 2020 Pro AG will be going to someone in about 2 months or so. Depending when my Tundra Pro comes in. I love my 4runner. Unless I change my mind after I drive it. Already have my SCS wheels F5’s and 285’s and my Bajadesigns light sold.

I miss my Tundra. There’s pros and cons to both.
Why are you making the switch?

Hi, I’m making the switch my wife has a Acura suv and it don’t make sense for me to have one also. I can use the truck more. Also I want the last year tundra 5.7 before it switches over in 22 for the V6 turbo. I’m not interested in all the new stuff for 22. I’m happy with my Apple car play. Also I’m in a win win cituation weather I keep my 4runner pro or tundra Pro. All about numbers for me also. The value is crazy on both of these vehicles.

I’m in the same camp! While not looking to sell mine I would if offered and spring for a Tundra. Anyone looking seriously send me a message. I’d be open to offers. Less than 800 miles on mine too. Luckily not my daily driver but I do enjoy it.

Sounds good!! I was able to lock down a Luna Rock crewmax not even a month ago. I just chatted today with the dealership I usually deal with which is the salesman. He told me there are no 2021 tundras out there to allocate. He said i would have to go with a 2022 and he said it would be V6 turbo. No thank you.

Yea I’ve seen a couple around but not many. There’s a 2017 Red supercharged one an hour from here ! I like the Platinum too though.

Most places have them marked up. There was one in NJ about a month ago LunaRock and they had it marked up 10,000 over msrp. The places I deal with are msrp. The tundras pro are only little more than the 4runner Pro on the msrp. Also the value is crazy on our AG pro. Both vehicles are crazy.

That’s a nice area. Yeah if you cannot get it for msrp someone else can have it. I’m not paying more.

Agree. I really would just like a white one. Couple buddies have Platinum and I like them with better tires. Pro looks as long as a boat for some reason but I do like them as well. Not sure I don’t like the 4R better though. I like the smaller vehicle but a lot of space in the back.

Yeah it does look long. But man it sounds good. The neighbor drives by my road with his 16 Tan tundra pro. That V8 dual exhaust sounds good. I talked to him. He said he has just about 100,000 miles and no issues. He said it’s not going anywhere he loves it. My reason for trading my wife has a Acura RDX. We don’t need 2 SUV’s. I could use the truck more. And if would decide to sell it and go back I’m not going to lose anything. I also do like with the crewmax the back seats flip up and there is plenty of room for our 2dogs. I think it would contain them better instead of being in the big area in the 4runner. Plus the back window comes down like the 4runner.

I’m with you. If I get an offer on my 4R and found one I’d jump ship! No doubt. But I won’t sell my 4R for less than i paid. It’s just like I drove it off the lot and like 700 miles.

I could change my mind. There are none on any lots that I can test drive it. So when it comes in I will drive it before I buy it. That’s the nice thing if I change my mind I don’t lose my deposit. They will sell that beast in a heart beat.

I’m sorry to say I find this quest to be a bit quixotic at this point. TRD Pro in AG is just not happening for less than an absurdist premium anymore. Not that I would pay more the MSRP for it, which is why I’m loving my 2021 MGM Pro.

Please post some pictures! It will be MGM for me as well. I would prefer Cement, but not possible for 2021. Still undecided on Pro or ORP! Thanks!

Why did you switch from the Pro to the ORP? For a fence sitter like me, I have read several times a comment saying "if you are not getting a unique Pro color, why not get the ORP?" Which makes a lot of sense! I really dislike the Pro roof rack and would probably remove it immediately if I go that way. Prefer the streamline look of the stock roof rack or no rack. But, I also like the idea of having a Pro and not feeling compelled to modify it. Added $10,000 - $12,000 in cost for probably $6,000 in upgraded features with the Pro. Internally torn into eternity with this!

If you don't want to modify it or at most add the Eibach springs and 285's like I did, then I would get the Pro. I wish I could have found an Army Green, but I'm pretty happy with the MGM. I love the black accents and pops of red with the MGM.

27D6752B-DD20-4989-863E-540C92BE4068.jpg Here is a refresh pic without the roof rack. I removed it because I like the smooth top. I get a lot of compliments on this Pro. I must be nuts for letting it go. I still have time to try and talk wife in driving the Pro and giving up her Acura.
