For the record I was shot in my driveway by a 18yr old tweaker back in '07.
My roommate @ the time just thought we would scare some kids & our lives changed forever.
I am still a gun fan & support the proper ownership & use of them. I now have a lot more guns in the house...

    Thanks,
Yeah, it wasn't easy. It split my femoral artery & I lost my vision on the way to the ER.
5 days later I was on my way home with a 3ft scar and a lifetime of pain. The PTSD is worse than the shooting. Chronic pain & no sleep. It is just life now.
The dumb ass kid got into prison gangs & will never get out.
    I still won!

    May I please also note:
    I am very lucky.
However, there are a lot of people on this forum that volunteered to fight for our rights & freedoms or continue to while risking everything for others.
I cannot imagine what it takes to do that. My grandfather was a WWII vet & took me to the opening of "Saving Private Ryan" it was the only time I ever saw him cry. He is my mentor (may he rest in peace).
I cannot begin to compare myself with anyone who has this experience and I admire everyone of you! :hattip:

Lol sorry man, little edgy yesterday. Went through a lot of posts on a lot of forums, trying to convince people what a sham this mess is. Friends I thought were mostly intelligent are just content to get f-ed up and dismiss all of it. SMDH.
Lot of enlightening stuff out there if they would just open their eyes.

Holy crap! Sorry you had to go through that and the after effects Ryan. In your own drive way.....GRRRR.
The opies and tweakers will be the real Zombie apocalypse in the near future I'm afraid. Trophy truck driver had to take some F-Stick out in Vegas last month. Luckily ruled a self defense homicide in the investigation.
I also echo your thoughts on the Veterans. First responders too. God Bless America and good luck to us.

No worries man, I completely hear you. It's a shame people don't understand how lucky we are to have the rights that we do, and the more comfortable they get, the more rights they're willing to sign away

Split an artery and you made it to the hospital alive?!? That's a miracle itself. I'm sorry to hear about the lasting effects. But yes, you certainly did win! Glad to hear they got him
