Each time you fill up, are you resetting the computer so that it can start fresh without previous information?

It seems to be base off the mpg from an average of recent trips. My 2021 shoes the range and under that gives me the mpg it used to calculate it (at least that is my understanding) it varies depending on what I have been doing, but seems empty go up and down based on how I am driving and what my recent and current mpg are.

I've only done it a couple times. Do you think I should do it after each fill?
