Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
It's no worse than the Wrangler hood and literally EVERYTHING inside it. How do Wranglers not get their batteries stolen all the time?

A fair point. I'm not very familiar with Wranglers to be honest, so, I didn't know that about their hoods.

I had a 2010 Ford explorer and before that a 1999 jeep cherokee. They all had small parts failures that resulted from Made In Mexico parts.
Even the big 3 source parts from other countries. You never know what your're going to get.

Not gonna lie, I’d buy one for the right price. This off road one looks badass.

They managed to take the idea of the plastic fender flares on the JK/JL and make them even uglier. They just protrude out to the side too much.
Lose, I can see. Steal? Who'd want them?

I came from owning 2 different JKs, and never could get over the look of those ugly fender flares. Why anyone would want to copy that idea is beyond me.

Enterprising tweakers, pretty much. *laughs* I've heard about some really odd shit being stolen that later pops up on facebook swap shops or craigslist, so, not much surprises me anymore.

That being said, theft isn't that big of a concern to me as them just falling off going down the road or being ripped off while off-roading. While I like the modularity of it, I suspect the latches are all plastic and I can easily see those wearing out and working themselves free....Kinda like what happened to my Jeep Patriot's front bumper right after getting home with it.
