They've got a 2013 FJ Cruiser on the lot that looks interesting...my next vehicle will most likely be another 4Runner. I'm not a fan of the lane departure and other crap where the vehicle decides when to drive/brake. I'm old...I want to be in control. So I'll probably wait a few years and buy an '18 or '19. Maybe even older.

Same here...I didn't want all that "safety" stuff, so I bought a '19. I also like using a key to start it up!

Push-Button start is a big yes for me. Imagine your a girl, never have to dig in a purse, or a guy his pocket for keys. The proximity sensors automatically turn on the interior lights when you walk up to the vehicle.....simply “touch” the door handle it’s locked and armed...

You can “let go” of the steering wheel for three seconds. And it steers itself. Then notifies you your hand is not on the steering wheel...

Atleast the new Camry I rented did this. It had a camera in the Toyota emblem. Not sure exactly about the 4R...

Sorry, SR5, but that isn't a plus to me. I walk out to the truck with my keys in my hand, beep to unlock, and climb up and in. Key in the ignition, turn it, and VROOM. I've been doing that same thing for almost forty years of driving other than the beep part. I mostly grew up on cars without power steering, so I have to drive it. I like that. Hell, I still keep my right hand on the shift lever most times even though the Runner is an auto. Habits die hard. I bought my Africa Twin without DCT 'cuz I like shifting it too. To each their own!

If Lincoln ever brought back the Mark LT I'd wouldn't be able to sleep at night until I at least went and test drove one.

I can take the push button start or not. My 19 Z06 Corvette has push start button and I like it. As far as the safety sense in the Pro. You can turn it off. I’m not a big fan of it but I want the bigger audio screen and apple car play. So moving up to the 2020 Pro over my 17.
    Sunroof
    JBL audio system
    Fox suspension
    TRD exhaust
Yes I could add this stuff to my 17 Pro but been there and done that with my 15 Tacoma Sport. I like the Pro just the whey it is.

I've got the 2016 Trail with 18,335 miles on it. Garaged kept and not a ding anywhere. It still drives like new. I have had it off road only a couple of times, it ran great out in the sticks too. I don't need to ever get a new vehicle being I'm 76 now.

Ha! I do that too. Even in my wifes old Sienna, always had my hand on the shifter even though I haven't driven a manual in 30 years. Wife sez I do it just to look cool. must be working.

I just bought a new 4Runner, so am good for a while. Almost bought a Tundra, but the daily driving superiority and seating of the 4Runner won me over. Dealer was practically giving away a desert tan 4x4 Tundra, though. 8' bed and upgraded interior for $32k.

Electric?? Must be a city boy thing.

the new corvette is badass. I’d buy one in a heartbeat if I could afford it as a second vehicle.

Thanks Guys!! It definitely looks different in person. Also big difference with the TRD exhaust sound. Much louder than my 17. I think it will quite down after some miles.

I’m sure there’s a lot going on in the engine that you “can’t” see. Incorporating titanium parts like lifters and valves. Prob has a few more pony’s and is a torque monster?

Can always wait until 2021 and get the Rav4 Prime. 302 HP, 39 miles in EV only and 90 mpge. Or wait until 2022 and hope Toyota adds the hybrid to the 4Runner lineup.

DF1F7761-79B1-4999-BBD2-C63114A88512.jpg Well she’s all tucked away after bringing home yesterday. Love it so far. Wife likes the roof rack. I’m not sold on it yet. I will wait awhile before I decide. Taking running boards off and selling them. Putting on my bars I have from my 17 Pro.

Well I got this Runner for the wife but after driving it, and if it pulls my boat easy enough I’ll be looking into another Runner but in 4wd for myself. If it doesn’t pull the boat as easy as I’d like I’ll be looking into a Tundra instead. Did the midsize thing and ford has lost me with their changes and never cared for Chevy plus the new bodies are unholy imo. Ram priced well but too many horror stories of repairing shit all the time.

A little off topic, but for the eight years I owned my Ram before I traded it for the 4Runner, it’d been nothing but the utmost in reliability. Amazing tow rig (I had the Outdoorsman with 3.92 gears). But a Tundra would also be amazing, I imagine.

for whatever the opinion of a perfect stranger off the internet is worth, the rack looks awesome on the green, maybe not so much on other colors.

Thanks everyone for the likes. Yeah the running boards are going up for sale. Putting my other bars on. I think the roof rack looks better in person then looking at a picture. I’ll wait to see if it grows on me.
