Just here to say WOW and amazing job. I too want all the Limited interior spoiled human options with a Pro exterior! No way I can do what you have done so I'm really jealous.

I looked through threads and noticed you made this conversion. I also found a google docs link that you posted with a parts list. That link is no longer active. Would you be willing to post it again? Thx man!

A week after that I had to turn in my company car because we switched to a mileage reimbursement system. I say all this because I had to get a truck and get one fast so I had to buy a '22 TRD Sport. I was able to swap out a lot parts from my '19 Pro (roof rack, predator tubes, skid plate, wheels/tires, molding covers, etc...) but the front end is killing me. It's the Limited front end and not the SR5/TRD.

Happy Friday DV! Awesome job on the '16 conversion. 2 months ago I bought a '19 Black TRD Pro w/ 9k miles on it after an exhaustive 5 month search. 3 weeks after I bought it a black horse ran out in front of me at 5am in the pitch dark and I hit it at 65mph. I walked away without a scratch; the truck and the horse didn't fare so well. Horse died instantly and the truck was totaled.

Looking to swap to Trd pro wheels on my limited, but not planning on doing a lift/level/spacers as of right now. Any idea what size tires would fit without any rubbing or need for modification?

Also what did you do for the spare since you can't use your spare 20in anymore?

275/70/17 w/o a lift. For the spare, still using 20”

Hey, thanks for replying on your build-thread! Didn't want to ruin it, so here I am with a few questions :)
      - In the sheets, how are tabs "Front Bumper" and "Clean Front Bumper" different?
      - Do fender-liners need to be replaced along with the front bumper?
      - After a rocker-panel swap, can I fit any running-board?
So sorry if you have been already asked the same things and thanks for helping out the community!

I think clean was just a page I made and sent to the body shop. It doesn’t have the comparison of which parts are reusable.

Some folks cut the limited liners to fit. But a cleaner conversion is to just get new liners. I got the clips on Amazon as were cheaper. Once you remove the clips, can’t be re-used.

Once you swap to trail/Sr5/trd rocker, you can use any slider or running board which is for non-limited.

Hey man I am trying to install a trd pro roof rack on my 2021 ofp and after doing extensive reading online you seem like the guy to ask! I found a used one and I am going to order the hardware kit with it.That being said I really don’t want to run into water issues, I know where the foam/fiber washers go but do you suggest using silicon/loctite as well anywhere?

if you buy a new install kit, it comes with washers and bolts with locktite already applied on the bolts. I followed the Toyota spec which does not use any silicon

First version was made of steel and was laser cut. I can forward you his info. The 2nd version is still Bering sorted kit but it’s a 3D print. Once it’s done, I can send you his info too

Hey man. Sorry if this is annoying as it seems everyone is asking you the same stuff.. I just picked up a 2020 Limited 4runner. I see your spreadsheet you previously posted and have looked i to it. My question for you is where did you actually get the TRD pro bumper??

Limited does not have kdss. But if it did, there are skid plates out there which are kdss friendly

So I bought the TRD pro rack for my 2015 sr5 4Runner. Little did I know I forgot to put the seal on and recently it started raining a lot in vancouver bc. I did take off the headliner few days ago dried everything off and put RTX silicone ontop of the bolts. now today its a little wet in my headliner cause it rained again. Reading your posts.. I dont have the brackets on. Will this help prevent it from leaks?

I think it’s best to have the red pro washers. These are oem for the trd pro rack

Hi, I was reading some of your posts @ installing the TRD Pro roof rack on your Limited. My question is concerning the 4 brackets that you have shared pics of. Are those not to be found under the standard/stock rails? Are they only stock on factory builds with the TRD Pro roof rack? Just trying to determine if I'll need to buy them. Thanks!

Hi. I've got a similar setup. 2019 Limited that I want to switch out front bumper cover for an SR5. Two questions if you don't mind? Assuming I get all the parts for the conversion, how did you know order of assembly for things like plastic in wheel wells? The parking sensors; did you just ditch them or were you able to integrate with SR5 bumper cover?

Thank you. I am in North Bay, btw.

Not really sure I understand "order of assembly" Basically I swapped out all the parts needed to make it OEM TRD. As for sensors, I plan to put them back. I just need to drill some holes and paint the 2/4 of the rear sensors.

If you plan to do the conversion, I have a parts list. I can also give you a hand.

Hey man I Really like your whole set up. I have a 2016 limited and have all the chrome you originally had and am planning to black it out. I had a question in regards to your TRD pro roof rack. How was the install on it? was it a perfect swap? Also I bought the Suma turn lights you purchased as well. How is it holding up? Thanks

Thanks for the nice comments in regards to the pro rack, it’s plug and play. If you buy used, just make sure to purchase the install kit. this will include all the necessary washers and bolts. A new kit will already include this. As die Suma, I love these the wide angle mirrors. I have them on all my cars. It’s a great investment.

Thanks a lot for the info. Any suggestions on where I can purchase the LED lights you got for the interior? Im also looking at low beam/high beam and fogs but really just want plug and play stuff. I appreciate your help. Also I'm totally with you on the limited edition stuff that you can't get on any other 4runner. Mine came with automatic running boards which are pretty cool.
