    Hey guys,

I finally got a 5th gen about a month ago, but i've been hoarding all kinds of parts for like 8 months. I finally found a local car at the right price and configuration. It's a 2016 Blizzard Pearl Limited. But honestly I’ve always been a fan of the Pro look but liked the creature features (full-time 4x4, keyless entry, push start, leather seats, dual climate, third row seats) of the Limited. I guess my build will look more like a fake Pro :police:

I’ll post pictures as i install each of the pieces. keep in mind, this is currently my daily driver so i want to keep the mods mellow :)

    Exterior:

    1. TRD hood - done
    2. TRD front bumper/valance -done
    3. TRD pro suspension 2018 - done
    4. TRD skid plate -done
    5. TRD pro roof rack 2019 - done
    6. TRD pro wheels - done
    7. Predator steps for the kids - done
    8. Cornfed spacers - 2/1.5 - done
    9. Trail edition rockers -done
    10. Gobi ladder - done

    Interior:

    1. led interior lights - done
    2. TRD shift knob - done
    3. A pillar handle - done

    Mods I plan to get:

    1. tires - 285/70/17 nitto ridge grapplers - done
    2. led lights - katana low/high beams - done

Where did you find a full front bumper?
Any installed pics? That on a limited will be awesome!
    Congratulations.

Thanks bạn. Btw, the body shop didn’t have any bumper boxes. He says most bumper arrive only in plastic. So I’m still looking .

Its cool. Yeah Ive read a lot of people just bubble wrap the part and just cut up cardboard pieces and tape it to the bumpers shape.

not yet, but I plan to. My goal was to get everything fitting correctly. The front sensors should be easy as the sensor paint already matches the bumper. The rears are trick as the two inner ones need to be painted black as I plan to install it on the valance. I’m hoping for a sunny weekend to take car of this.

I love plastidip! Individual cans or the turbine system?
We have the turbine system, we are just tired of the murdered out (all black) theme. I guess someday I may change the gray to an anthracite.
That product is amazing. Most haters don't have the knowledge or patience to do it right. Small items may take 10+ coats after cleaning! It self levels & removes easily!
Is this your first experience with it?
    Thanks,
    Ryan

Also, it is made by Permatex. The anti-seize, gasket sealant company... I am pretty sure that they know what they are doing!

Not sure what a "smart garnish" is TSS?. Just peal & repeat. I guarantee that by the 3rd time you nail it!
5-10% first, second & third coats.
Then a few heavy coats to get it thick.
Then a few more light coats to get every angle.
    Peal when still "semi wet".
    This product is phenomenal!
Glad you enjoyed your first experience. Don't let it be your last. It is easy to do awesome products. I used it to black out the windows on my old shop! If owner had a problem with my security measures, just peel it!
We have done grills, wheels, badges & spoilers. Plus more I am probably forgetting. It is a fun product to play with!
I have an 8"x8" steel test piece I coated in black 4 yrs ago & no rust or peeling. I will take a pic when I get to my shop after the holidays!

Smart garnish has up/down arrows to control the rear window like in the 2020 4runners premium. But limiteds had these for like 10yrs now.

Plastic dip is awesome, I was after the wrinkle finish look. I hope to use it again on another project.

I’m not that familiar with the Limited trim, but what was it about the Limited that you wanted since you are essentially building the TRD Pro. Was it the leather trim?

Prior to 2020, only the limited offered keyless entry and push start. But mainly yes, redwood leather was one of the main reasons, blizzard pearl color and full-time AWD. Other differences is heated and cool seats with dual climate control.

Now that makes me jealous. By the way I love what you did to your 19 T4R Limited. Good job

I wouldn’t say it’s better as the limiteds don’t have crawl feature and a locker. It’s more of a limited with pro looks :)

I call it beautiful! Both clean & unique.
First one I have seen. Great combo instead of buying a new one every few years. I would build one if ours wasn't almost new.
    Beautiful build @Daytonaviolet !
