XM not working "antenna" flashing - 2011 Limited

    The XM Radio on my 2011 Limited 4Runner isn't working. I have the JBL system with navigation. The word "antenna" is flashing and there is no sound at all. Research confirmed the flashing "antenna" meant the radio wasn't connecting with the antenna.

    I pulled the head unit and checked the XM antenna connection which seemed to be fine. The connection was clean and not loose.

    I then purchased a separate XM antenna and adapter, plugged it in, shut down the power to the head unit and restarted. The XM radio still doesn't work and "antenna" is still flashing. Everything else on the head unit seems to be working fine.

    Has anyone else had this problem and found the solution. Thank you in advance.
