    Gentle members,

    HELP!?

    So, my 2016 4Runner Trail Premium is getting ready for its build. Here is my goal, to build in stages over the next 18 months. This summer I am planning a long road cross-country trip with some off roading, but nothing too challenging. With that in mind, I want to build out in some order that will help me make the trip while 1) not infringing on the warranty; 2) still enabling some offroading; 3) being able to carry luggage and camping gear all along the way.

    On my list of things in my build out are:

    1) roof rack
    2) new brush guard/bull bar with winch
    3) rear bumper with spare tire and possibly jerry cans;
    4) lift
    5) new tires
    6) supercharger

    Will take any recommendations on where to begin. I confess I thought of starting with roof rack, then doing a lift, but would love to hear from those more experienced than I.

    Thanks
    Broadside

    You've got a good order there. Figure out how much weight you'll have with the bumpers and a loaded rack, then lift it, figure out which springs you should have, probably some heavy duties. I love my set up.

    Thanks Sixth. So the goal here is to wind up with an overland vehicle that I can spend my retirement seeing the U.S. from Moab to Kill Devil Hills.

    Looking forward to sharing the photos and joining with others on the trail!

    I'm going overland style as well. 5th gens are a great platform. My rear bumper is up next
