I appreciate the information, thank you. I guess if someone wants a 0° slider from SOS, they would have to know to ask, as I did not see that option on your 5th Gen slider ordering page...

Considering it's less than 1% of our orders then yes they would have to ask. We get a lot of people ask but not many actually order that way. We've eliminated a lot of extra stuff that is very rarely ordered just streamlines things. It never hurts to shoot companies a message about stuff when it comes to these sorts of things. You'd be surprised at what's not on websites but can get done. It's not like Amazon.

There's a difference in companies that offer stuff like this, you have some like ours which are more "fab shop" style then you have the "big box" type. The fab shop will be willing to do different things big box what you see is what you get on their website.

OP has been missing since May 16, 2017 it looks like. Everyone post the armors here and I will either make a new thread or try to get control of this one to keep the Original post as a List of links etc. I will try to keep a current coupon code etc. with the link/pics as well. :boink: @victoryrunner @ovrlndkull and anyone else that is on here! I am doing tons of looking/research for our 5th gen bumpers and may as well help others with what I am coming up with.

Side note: @victoryrunner as soon as we scrape up the $$ for the bumper and winch we are ordering the Strike without the tube. I think that one is a homerun. Doesnt look like an "afterthought" in my opinion. Do you know if it will work with the Smittybilt X20 (98510) or the Warn VR EVO 10-S (103253)? Thanks

Thank you! We appreciate that! We wanted to retain as much of the factory look/grill as possible, I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Yes, either of those winches should work.

Thanks for the tag! I'll post some of our armor here in one post so I'm not spamming this whole thread with posts.

Hey everyone, I’m Cam from Victory 4x4! We are a manufacturer located in Michigan. We operate out of 32,000sqft. We do all of our cutting, bending, welding, and powder coating in house. Some of you might know our sister company, JcrOffroad, which has made Jeep armor for almost 16 years.
We have tons of products currently available for the 5th Gen but will continue to come out with new products, so follow along on our prototype thread as well! https://www.4runners.com/threads/victory-4x4-new-product-prototyping.8756/page-6

We have front integrated winch bumpers (steel & aluminum), our new front Strike full bumper (steel & aluminum), full skid system, roof racks, factory roof rail crossbars, storage panels, two rock slider options, and our new Strike modular rear bumper & carrier system, and a lot more! I'll post a few photos below. Check out our website and let me know if you have any questions.

I gotta say I'm impressed with that @victoryrunner rear bumper and interesting slider light concept. The front bumper without the bars is super clean and might even work with the TSS radar. These guys must be kinda new because I've been around a little while and I haven't seen them for long.

It will work with TSS! We've been in the Toyota market for a few years now, but making offroad armor for close to 20!

I am going to do a full armor thread, front to rear, I think listing manufacturers alphabetically. I am going to yank pics etc off Manufactures websites :hattip:

What filler piece??? As for the skid they work ok but we recc. relocation into the engine bay for the best tire approach angle and least likely hood of damaging the washer res.

I think he's talking filler piece for between the bumper and lower frame section but our full replacement does not need it it sits up against it. I'm not familiar with the domelllo piece.

It's a neat idea. Most 4Runner bumpers have you cut across the oem bumper cover and keep the top to fill in below headlights. This Demello piece let's you not butcher oem cover.

I am well aware of the cutting required to put the bumper on :anonymous:

    That is pretty slick.

Ok so this peaked my interest. Very nicely made!!! Jeeps and such have been doing similar for years. It looks like a well made product and it would do well, some of the claims may be a little over ambitious but I wouldn't let that stop anyone from buying it. I'd also like to see the bracing and bracketry they are talking about why just show the underside. Their sliders and bumper are also intriguing looks like they mostly play with Jeeps which is where those design ques and processes are coming from. I like this type of competition it makes the rest of us get off our heels and think about some of our products and push the design envelope.

Oh at that 2g price tag there is a reason dent warranty, process of design, and materials it's not hard to reach that price point.

Thanks for sharing that now it's time to step it up!!!

For those that like the skid system I've got a few questions for you
    1. would price be a deciding factor
    2. function over form (if all the important stuff is protected) does the prettyness of this one still win over
    3. is this type of skid set up more appealing to you

I like the width of the front area of that artec.
Funny, I had contacted a couple of companies in the past wanting something wider up front. If nothing else, wanted some form of bolt-on additional "splash shields" to help deflect stuff from flying straight into coilovers. I like the width of the oem skids on front for that reason.
(the coverage width is part of why I ended up welding some scrap flat bar to reinforce OEM skids and then skinned them with UHMWPE, being cheap & having material on hand was another big part part of why I did it)

Ours has wings that does this to a certain extent it's wider at the wings than the factory one. The UHMWPE is an excellent idea it adds some strength but adds a whole lot of sliding ability. Most Rock Bouncers and buggies usually run aluminum skids skinned with that stuff.

This thread has seemed to fizzle out, and I'm wondering why...there still seems to be plenty of interest in comparing armor choices and availability...

Question for you guys that know... Saw this today and thought the fit was very clean. I'm not sure if it's SSO or another brand... Can anyone here tell? Looks like anything with a bull bar interferes with the forward sonar/radar... Who's "mountain logo" is this just above the winch ?? 4runner.winch.jpg

I believe CB4 bumper has been tested and does not interfere with TSS.

Hey guys, I have a set of RCI skids and rock sliders on my 2019 Tacoma TRD Off-Road.

My only complaint about them is that they are noisy. As the frame flexes over terrain, the sliders/skidplates are constantly making noise. You can hear it when pulling into a steep driveway or leaving a parking lot.

Granted, it could be installation error. I did not install these brackets on the truck when I installed the sliders.
    A80-D588-C-339-B-458-D-B3-E8-617-C863-D0_608e3f75421e1c985064b3b6c16d5d5541f9a351.jpg

Regardless, do any of you have issues with your armor making noise when flexing your 4Runner? I'm debating trading in my Taco for a T4R (for reasons other than the noisy armor).

I dont have RCI sliders, I have RSG. They seem to mount very similarly, with the exception of the tabs that go under the frame...no noises with my sliders at all.
