    Hey folks,,
Just got 99 today, ltd. Hope these are as reliable as they say. Look forward to learning. Especially with my climate control unit (digital). It's haunted I think.

That is normal with the climate control. You can have them rebuilt for around 100-150 bucks and they are as good as new.

Thanks, but as I walked my dog this morning, the first snow of year started,so I'll need it soon. Are they hard to take out,or do I need special tools? I saw re build places on e bay. I'm pretty mechanical, but more for pre 1980 vehicles. New ones elude me. I'm guessing I need to disconnect electrical supply? Thank you again for your response.

They are easy. If you can take a battery out of a car than you can do this. Just take the dash trip off. Two screwed if I remember correct in plug the pig tail and your done. It's easy.... it took me longer to put in a head unit than that thing...

I thank you. I'll have a little more confidence now I think. Do you remember if the dash trim unscrew ot pulls off? Sorry to be a pain, but but if you don't ask,you don't find out! I appreciate all the help.

They pull off. The clips are soft so be easy with them...
