New to the forum and the 4Runner community. Wanting to ditch the xreas. Is it really as simple as removing and installing a kit from a vendor like Old Man Emu. Any advice appreciated.

Yes it’s that simple, it’s a stand-alone system that is 100% mechanical. There’s no electrical control or monitoring. Remove it and throw it away.

Thanks appreciate the info. Do any of you have a recommendation of which system or brand to replace with. Not planning on anything real aggressive. Like a 3 in lift and some new wheels and tires.

OME is a good option. Check out wheelersoffroad.com
