    Hey guys,

I'm trying to put my lift kit together and I'd like to go with the King 2.5" front coilovers and SPC UCAs, but I'm not sure what to do about the rear. Would it be ridiculous to go with either Bilstein 5100s or 5160's in the rear along with Icon 2" coils? Or should I just spend the extra money for the King 2.5" rear shocks (will still use the Icon 2" coils)? Are the rear shocks really that important? Btw, I'm not planning on adding any bumpers or anything else that will add a significant amount of weight.

    Appreciate any feedback.

    Chris

It’s your truck so you can do whatever you like. However, I wouldn’t do that. I’d spend the extra money and get the king rears.

    +1

The rears are just as important as the front, IMO.

The kings and bilsteins are valved very differently. The coil selection in the rear isn't that big of a deal, but personally match the shocks.

I agree with above, stay Kings at all 4, you will be a happy man.

Thanks guys, that helps. I figured that’s the response I would get, but wanted to confirm.

your br selling yourself short as well. I’ve had billies and have Kings now. Night and day difference. Nothing wrong with bullies. Just you get what you pay for. However if you haven’t bought anything yet, the 6112/5160 combo is solid imo.

This is always the thought that runs through my head... I've learned my lesson in the past with trying to save a little money. I always end up wanting the better part and regretting my purchase, and then end up selling the original parts for a loss and buying the others anyway.

I ended up ordering everything but the rear shocks because I'm confused on which part #. I've seen 25001-125, 25001-125-EXT and 25001-279. Anyone know which part # is the correct one for the King rear w/res, non-adjustable (I'm installing the 2" Icon rear coils)?

ones extended and ones not. Both will work. However you may want to verify.
