Anyone had their 4runner ceramic coated and regretted it after? Is it worth it? I’ve been quoted $1700 for 9yr guarantee.

I did my own but I have always enjoyed detailing my vehicles. If you have the time (like two or three days), it's not difficult. The prep is the time consuming part

Depends. On a new truck no. New cars you can do it yourself. On an older truck, yes as it involves paint correction.

After I had it done the first time, I asked myself why I never had it done before. It’s legit. It’s easy to understand how hydrophobic the product is, but you can’t truly appreciate how easy it is to clean your vehicle until you’ve done it on a car that’s had ceramic. A lot of people don’t find value with that price tag, but I highly doubt you’ll regret it as long as it’s done properly.
