Wireless Android Auto

    Thanks for the tips. I will try a reboot and if not, file a claim. And yes, when I was using the wireless adapter my phone battery would drain so fast. I was not clear.

    Yeah, I love the idea of not having to plug in my phone to use Android Auto but had a feeling it would be a huge draw on the phone's battery....I mean....it is moving a lot of data back and forth. That said, if you still have to plug in for power, I'm not sure I see the benefit of a wireless data connection.

    My thoughts exactly once I realized it was a battery suck. If i am plugging in to stop battery drain, really no point unless for just short trips.

    I only have to plug in for longer drives to keep my phone charged. 90% of the time, my phone stays in my pocket. Like most things, there are some limitations.

    I tried a wireless charging pad but it doesn't really keep up with the draw of BT on the battery.

    Also, it is much slower to connect than the built in wireless android auto in my wife's 25 Camry.

    Overall, I'm still happy with it in both of my cars.
