I have a 2016 4runner SR5 model. Received a low washer light on the dash, tried to refill the washer fluid and it drained out the front right passenger side onto the ground. I opened up the wheel well cover and found that the black hose attached to the pump came off. After inserting the tube back onto the pump (And putting a tywrap on as per pic) everything seems to be working as normal, the wipers jets work on the front and back etc. But when I use the fluid the pump leaks as per the attached picture. Is the leak supposed to happen or do I have a faulty pump or maybe missing a connection somewhere?

    Any advise helps thanks

I'm no mechanic but guessing the leak isn't normal I've never noticed one in a 2018.

Would like a better angle pic, BUT I would say the pump IS leaking & no it should not be.
