On our trip to Florida on i65 the windshield was smacked by a rock from a maintenance truck. The windshield did not break but it left a bubble inside the glass about the size of my pinky fingernail. You cant feel any rugged glass inside or outside. I can deal with the buble.

Anyone know if it might crack when winter hits with temp changes and defroster heat?

It might. I drive 100 miles a day and have had Safelight fix this with heat / resin process. Cut my windshield replacements from 4 a year to 1.

Get it filled and you should be fine. I had a bubble on my Tacoma, bought one of the resin kits from a parts store and it worked well.

    Is plasti-dip a mod?!
Just watch it and see. I have a small chip in my old car's windshield about 8 years old, never spread, even with big temp swings.
