Came into work today and my coworker had his window trashbagged. He said window motor regulator went out, and now that's got me worrying. Since I got my truck, when the drivers window rolls down, about halfway you'll hear a click. It's pretty loud. Could that just be my tint? Or is it something I should worry about??

The loud popping sound you hear is your window hitting the door guide when the window is on the way down. If you open your door and roll the window up and down the popping sound goes away because the guide is not in the door. I have this issue as well. I removed the door guide and filed it down but the window still hits it, just not as hard. The door guide I am talking about is the slide in the middle of the door between the hinges. I think the cause of this is when the door gets over extended during opening. Mine started making this sound when a big gust of wind blew my door open one day. I am deciding to either file more or create a shim to fix it. If you need pics I can try and get some to you.

Late response, never saw the alert, but pics would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
