Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
One advantage is slightly better gas mileage when you've got the front disengaged.

But the Limited is rated as the same gas mileage as the other trims, so any difference would be minimal.

I would blame the Land Rover for making Toyota turn from a weird FJ40 t a bigger luxury oriented SUV the Land Cruiser. If there was no rivalry going on between Toyota and Land Rover, we would still be seeing these weird fj40s competing with Wranglers. Jeep never competed with Land Rover, so I don't understand why Toyota did

Fun fact, the Jeep Wagoneer came out in 1963, the first Range Rover didn't come out till 1970. Jeep pretty much invented that class.

The first Land Rover was actually built on a Jeep chassis in 1947.

Jeeps is the OG, the Land Rover, Range Rover, FJ, LC, they all came after the Jeep.

Another advantage is driving 1200 miles from Galveston TX to Ouray CO while being as comfortable as sitting in your Lazy Boy in your living room :)

Didn't know about the Range Rover/Wagoneer thing. Cool stuff!

Whenever people talk shit about Jeeps I like to remind them that the original Landcruiser was literally a copycat of a Willys Jeep.

And, IIRC, Land Rover was started because some guy couldn't get parts for his Jeep, basically. :D

Sounds nice! I don't mind the pleather in the ORP, but real leather would be pretty sweet.

So Jeep started this luxury family SUV thing and forced Toyota to jump in? Well, then at least they kept their Wrangler. Wish Toyota did that too. Toyota Land Cruiser of today is such a confused vehicle

I want a 4Runner for the same reason you want a 4Runner. But with ventilated seats.

IMO, the 2022 Limited seems to be the best balance for on and off-road experiences. Put a quality set of tires on and you'll have a quite capable vehicle on and off road. Also, heated and cooled seats along with the new safety features. For a dedicated vehicle for off road, I would go Pro, but for middle ground, Limited.

I just don’t understand why the limited doesn’t have the option for TRD off-road body cladding and a rear locker.

I bet they would sell like hotcakes. But, it might take sales away from the PRO, which could be a reason they don't offer it.

    ^ This.

An AWD vehicle with center diff lock, plus a rear locker, plus ATRAC, and tan leather, and a 3rd row seat... who wouldn't want that. It's like a V6 GX with a rear locker.

I like it much more than the pro which offers nothing that I’m interested in over the regular off-road.

2022 has a trim called Trail. It is 4WD and has ATRAC and no other tools. Just a 4WD SR5 with ATRAC. Works for some people, and it is cheaper.

I usually go about once a year. It's definitely not my favorite anymore. We used to hang out there as kids all the time.
