I have a few new lights and aftermarket toys to install and have the fuse panel and breaker and everything ready go for install, I just am dumbfounded on the best place to mount the relays in the engine bay (or maybe not?). The single open space in the engine bay is passenger side wheel well behind the intake tubing, but I have yet to find a mounting platform made for that area for the 4th gens. My last resort is to put it in the cab somewhere...

    Any ideas??

I have 5th gen but this advice is general:

Mount in engine bay, and close to your power source... otherwise you're running triple the wiring (and a larger guage) though the firewall from the light to the relay.

Relays are small enough that you should be able to squeeze them in anywhere. On the 5th gen there is an area just behind the engine fuse box and battery, against the driver's side fender wall, that can accommodate multiple relays and allows simple access to the battery.

This is how I have my relays inside the engine bay fixed with random bolts I found in my nut and bolts box. Notice the second relay bolt has like 2 or 3 washers because it was too long. LoL..

@MeefZah and @kmeeg I should have specified I had hoped to not be mounting the relays directly to the body and instead put them in some sort of enclosure, like the Nilight or MicTuning ones we've all seen on Amazon but a little...nicer. Not a requirement by any means, just wishful thinking. I guess if I have to I could just get the Rago or CaliRaisedLED relay holder and use a ton of F3 tape so its waterproof

You don't need a waterproof enclosure, they will be fine under the hood. Relays also get hot so NOT being enclosed is better IMO.

I have the Rago relay holder, picks up a couple of already existing screws, holds three relays
