I'd like to add wheel spacers on my stock TE. I just want to widen the stance.

For those that have experience with wheel spacers, would you chime in on any of these?

    What thickness? 1" / 1.25" / 1.5" / 2" ? Why did you pick that size?

How much lift do you have and what size tires are you running?

What brand did you get? Any issue with that particular brand?

What aesthetic and performance changes did you like and/or not like about them?

Are they still on your 5th gen? If not, why did you take them off?

If you've researched on getting spacers but decided against it, why?

A lot of people get them due to lifting the vehicle some and wanting to run larger tires on their stock wheels. You have to space out the wheels a little so the Tires don't rub on the UCAs.

Thanks for your response. It made me realize I need more info to describe my situation... I'd like to add wheel spacers on my stock TE. I just want to widen the stance.

    Stock Wheels? Go For it!

Aftermarket wheels with less than 5" of backspacing, I probably wouldn't.

What thickness will get my stock 265/70/17s flush to the fender w/o sticking out? 1" or 1.25"?

I am not sure on that. We only sell the 1.25" which is more the standard offering.
