We had a great time. Drove 2,400 miles in just over a week. What a great vehicle. 4wd worked flawlessly on the ice and snow.

It's that nautical blue that slides through the wind with ease that gives you those great numbers.

We never worry about the mpg when driving around the town and nearby city. But, on trips in our '16 4R Trail we average about 19-19.5 mpg US. I should add that the trips start here in Agassiz, B.C. at 55' elevation and take us up'n down in the coastal and inland mountains to over 5,000' el. Our '15 Wrangler JKU got about the same mpg but with less comfort, lower speeds and much more wind noise. - Ted

I’ve got 4200+ miles on mine in two months. Average according to the dash is 17.4, but we recently went to CO and we were pulling 19-21 when we figured out the average at fill up with correction for tire size.

I’m at 18.9 with only 3k miles on my TRDORP.

Since adding the TRD intake.... I assume it’s going down.... intake sounds awesome under hard acceleration!

    Nice view!

    Totally speed dependent.

Highway, flat, 60 mph got over 24.

Recent long trip at 75 in rolling hills - 17.7

Highway commute to airport averages 21-22 at 65

Around town taking it easy around 18-19.

I'm about the same as you JLTD.

We live out in The Farms (jupiter Farms), FL. Speed limit is 30 for miles.
My mpg around here is 22, going back and for from home to town of Jupiter, runnin 35 - 45 mph with traffic lights. Sittin at lights i'll watch the mpgs just drop rapido.
I run up to Orlando (2.5 hrs on Interstate) at 65 and I get about 22mpg (1800 rpm). I run it any faster then the mpg's go down quick.

I find myself nursing the pedal everywhere I go, just to keep the avg tank mpg at around 22. When I dont have the luxury of slowride, I'm down in the 16 - 18 mpg.

i have added bilstein shocks and struts completely rebuilt all suspension and all new bearing and ball joints new timing belt water pump idler pulleys radiator. and tried a new trick i learned from a guy to keep my temperature a little lower by drilling 2 1/4 holes into the thermostat because i notest that the lower radiator hose was not getting hot for a long time after driving it i am talking 10 or more miles and was building a ton of pressure on top hose now it is running at 180 to 185 degrees i do have aftermarket gages also if you have a 3ed gen you can put a 3 gage 7" setup below the aftermarket stereo and it will look like it came from the factory with some work and a lot of wiring and aftermarket sandwich plate at the oil filter for the pressure gage and a temperature sending unit on the top radiator hose and 2 wires to the alternator it can be done with a lot of patents and with 238.000 miles on it i didn't want to take any chances of blowing a head gasket. it made all the difference in the world because the original gage is not accurate at all!! if it goes over half you will probably blow your head gasket just a little heads up for people with rigs with a lot of miles LARRY B

I am getting 12.54 miles/gal on my 2013 limited. First big vehicle so I am a little concerned?

The temperature is in the -10 average. I was at 400 Km when my gas light came on and I drove another 30Km.

My car has 81000kms on it.

    This was only city.

Certainly not Canada but I do live in the northeast, probably have averaged 75% highway miles since new last year and the dash is reading 20.5 as of today. Never calculated it myself nor do I care too.

Still 20.2 - 20.4 but it isn't my daily driver yet and when I do pull it out of the garage it's been for more highway trips than around town/city. As it's driven more I expect that to drop.....UGH.....
