    That one time our ancestors trusted a snake, it turned around to bite us in the arse.
    I think that is what put fear of serpents into all of our brains.

    It's ok to be afraid, don't need to question it.

    Me, I've never been afraid and had a few as a pet but it doesn't bother me if others are afraid of them.

    Tarantulas are another thing people are terrified of.

    Not all snakes are dangerous. Since I hike, bike, kayak and backpack all over the east coast. I only ran into a few "dangerous" snakes.

    Shit I'm more worried about the humans I run into. Lol
