    That’s a hybrid, they don’t expect the battery to ever wear out on that thing, compared to a traditional electric vehicle. Remember, they don’t want you driving hybrids, they want to cancel anything with an internal combustion engine.

    Plus people are always claiming how “mechanically simple” electric cars are.

    The only thing they don’t have is a combustion engine, stuff like air-conditioning, suspension, radiators, brakes, power steering, electrical systems, etc. are still all there and ready to break.

    It’s a plug in hybrid. A typical day is all electric for it. 42 mile average electric range on a full charge.
