What material did you use for the drawer system top? I am trying to decide what surface I want to make a leveling platform out of. I have see the wood then bedliner, but trying to see if there is something smoother.

Dude! That is sick! You have some serious skills. I love building things so I can say this is amazing. Great design too, I love the viper cut. What program did you use?

It is called Starboard. Its basically just high density polyethylene (just like any dirtbike or 4wheeler fender), but it has a slight, almost orange peel texture to it which helps with prints, smudges, light scratches, and helps it slide against itself better. It holds screws easily, you can cut it with woodworking tools and it could also be welded (like a hot glue gun type but basically just melting it to itself). It is heavier and a little more expensive than wood, but one of the cheaper and lighter weight industrial plastics there is. It will technically float in water as well.

There is a Starlite XL version as well which would work fine and is about 30-40% lighter weight I believe.

Any of the black pieces you see are made from the standard Starboard and the grey pieces are from the Starlite XL version (I work for a plastics company so was able to use leftovers, etc and get a good deal)

So after some quick guidance from Crickey Mike it turns out my installer did not set the seat height based on the correct measurements. He left off about an inch worth of measurement, therefore meaning I'm sitting at 3.5" which is my kits max ride height.

I'm glad ya'll brought this to my attention - I probably wouldn't have known otherwise! Have to decide between dropping an inch and realigning (for the third time), or leaving it at this height and installing a diff drop kit and possibly adding rear brake line extensions...

My birthday was last week so I got some little goodies for the 4R -

Blacked out the little chrome strips in my grille:

Added plastic protection to the seat backs of the trunk:

So ya to answer your question more directly, I'm at exactly 38" with 33's (33" diameter), so with your stock 31" (31.6" diameter) ride height of 34-1/2 I should be sitting at 2.1" lift (38 minus 34-1/2+1.4).
OME 2884 approx 3" lift springs are 590lbs and I have barely any added weight. Rear end is at 39-1/2". So why am I at 2"
    :(

Nothing done to it, but thinking to myself while I wait at the school pickup line; what a good balance 4runner has with V6 engine and 23gal tank, even with 285/70R17 tires I could still go 300 miles in city. Probably refuel tomorrow..

How many MPGs does the fuzzy steering wheel cover save?

In all seriousness though I can still manage 350+ with 295s with my 4Runner. I used to average ~385 with stock tires. My buddy just picked up a 2023 ORP and says he's only getting 12MPGs. Guess he's got a heavy foot.

That cheap Amazon steering wheel cover is from my 2018 4runner. It also survive from my constant imaginary bass guitar playing on the edge of it listening to music :D:D:D:D

for me to get my front up to 38” i would have to do a 3.5-4” lift. :annoyed: I dont get it. Maybe those OME springs are really increasing the height.

@BobbyB fixed my math for me hahaha I believe I'm at 2.8"! Ground to fender would be 0.7" increase from 31's to 33's, not the full 1.4" tire difference. Question is, does everyone have suspension settling and what's normal

Please keep us up on the full Canvasback. Mine is being shipped as of yesterday and I have a husky that is very busy and hard on stuff as well so I am interested to hear how it holds up. Any picture as well to share?

What kind of dogs? I am trying to figure out the best option for a Great Dane. Right now he's only 6 months old at 70 lbs, but projected to be 140 lbs. He is still unsure about putting his head out the window so we have some time haha

Tinted out my windows today and added a brow. The sun can be brutal in my part of the Earth.

Got rid of the 20" Limited wheels. I will be posting them for sale later today in the marketplace forum in case anyone is interested in them. Tires have 18K on them and they will have the TPMS sensors too. Set of 5

basic minor stuff to new SR5P recently: Added Lasmat and Husky cargo liners and blacked out emblems all around. Next: Paint roof rails black, front tint and side deflectors, hyperdip wheels to anthracite gray, and speaker/audio upgrades. TBD on hood deflector - can't decide if I want one.

Sidenote - anyone know of any aftermarket arm rest for driver side door? That door is narrow as hell - need just a tad more meat on the door (or my arm, lol).

Today I installed my puddle lights. I have learned a few things while installing them, 1) did not have to remove the mirrors to access the screws, 2) I only have to remove the back cover to access the screws, 3) did not know that I had heated mirrors. Does anyone know where the harness is so I can use that feature? Puddle lights are bright and lights up the ground when I unlock the doors. Glad I got them.

Which ones did you get? I like those features as well.
