Now that you have 0w30, does the dipstick slide in and out like it’s on ball bearings now? I thought it was worth it, just for that! ;):D. No but seriously, checking the oil is pure luxury now.

I can't say I have particularly noticed that yet, but I look forward to a luxury dipstick experience next time.

OffRoam mount paired with bulletpoint MagSafe mount. A little pricey for a phone mount but worth it

For no reason, put the tailgate pillar lights on. Extreme brightness in the garage. Next time someone tailgates me....... lol.

I didn't know these were a thing! How do they look when not illuminated (designed well and blends in? stands out like a sore thumb?). It's hard to tell how they really look when illuminated due to the photo being taken indoors, but I suspect the lines are crisp and light is evenly distributed?

Stands out yeah, but not horribly. But can tell they are there. Will try to get a pic off sometime. Pics and the YouTube vids kinda make them look obnoxious, but not that bad in person.

Not hard at all. The hardest thing was fishing the wire through the wire loom in the hatch. Plug n play harness otherwise.

I notice in the pics that the stock "3rd brake light" on the spoiler is NOT illuminated. Is it either/or? Do these steal the signal from that light?

This wasn't today exactly, but recent enough. I just got my Morimoto XB's up front and in the rear and I'm loving them. They really modernized the truck although if I'm being honest I really liked the stock housings too, I just didn't care for the light output. I went through a ton of different LED's and Xenon lights before I finally decided to swap the housings. Now I just need to keep my fingers crossed and hope these lights last me a while.

It's funny, now that I look at my car in pictures I've done a ton of little things to it.
    Here's what I can see:
Amber sequential turn indicators in the sideview mirrors ($14 aliexpress purchase from a couple of years back)
Side view mirror black vinyl wrap
Amazon lightbar (mounted under the roof rack)
    trd pro grille (china/ebay version)
Rigid 360 ditch lights (amber glow / driving pattern)
Diode Dynamics ss3pro SAE fogs (they're awesome but too bright if you care about other people's retinas)
    Morimoto's (front/rear)
    4122 hitch slider
    Plastidip stock wheels
Overpriced Roam awning (Roam is overpriced overall)

There's my list of stuff that I probably could have posted in this thread over the last few years.

No. Doesn't Mess at all with the 3rd brake light. They tap into the tails. All lights will work

minute difference between 0W20 and 0W30 when it's cold. 0W will keep moving.

A higher viscosity for warmer climates is common and appreciated - which i'm assuming what the move is for.

Plasti dip coated the front chrome strips. Will install after they are cured and dry. I used a mirror to help see where to take them off. Made it pretty easy.

Got the SCS stealth 6s wrapped in some wildpeaks and installed. Poor pic I know, but man does it look so good in person.

Dobinson 2.5 IMR - rides REALLY nice. Had to do 1.25" spacers due to UCA's . Now I'm rubbing slightly in the rear...
when backing up compressed and turning.
275's I wouldn't think would do that, going to go a bit higher in front should help. Removed front mudflaps also.....

@Aratinga I recently experienced rubbing from similar lift and 1.25inch spacers, but 285 tires. If you don't want rubbing at full turn, reverse, and when you stuff the front end: you're looking at mudflaps long gone, fender liner and valance cap trim, and a beneficial body mount chop. Do you see a rubbing mark on the metal behind the front wheel now?

Okay… huge shout out to ICS for showing amazing customer service! This goes to show the value they take in their customers and it explains why I am happy I chose them as my vehicles phone mount.

    Quick background:
We were waiting in a drive-thru and I went to show my wife pictures for the day. I tried turning the mount when it was a bit tight and didn’t want to budge (oh yeah it is a SOLID phone mount). Anyways not being super aggressive to the point I thought I would break anything the back end just sheered right off. Well I was wrong and wasn’t careful enough.

i reached out to ICS this morning with the below pictures trying to see if they have any suggestions on how to fix this.

later that morning I get a notification from Shop telling me a delivery is on the way. I check my email and they say they will send me a brand new one. I was like shocked and this isn’t the first time they helped me out. I highly recommend ICS.

    After sheered bolt:

I put a lot of highway miles on my truck in the summer at 80mph. Let’s just say average ambient temps are 65-85 degrees night/day. Would I see an advantage to using 0w-30? And go back to 20 again in the fall/winter?

It's hard for me to say exactly.

Some charts show 0w-20 good up to 85 degrees while others show it up to 104 degrees.

I have some summer days in the 90's with the rare 100's. Some longer commutes in the 90's as well.

0w-20 is probably fine, but I figure what's the harm in extending the oils range with 0w-30?

I'm kinda late to this party, but assuming you did some things other people said, what about light bars, more under body armor, getting some fancy'd up tail lights, and interior racks. I could keep going forever. One thing I love about my 4runner is how i changed the third brake light. It looks so much better than the stock one and doesn't get super dusty.

Picked up these Tyger steps real cheap. But they stick out SOOOOO far.

Beautiful! I have the same wheels but waiting for it to be install. What is your lift suspension? Any issues or rubbing?
