I mean did you call King shocks and talk to them about your rig? Theyre pretty good about reasoning this out with customers. Or if you want something truly custom, try @AccuTune Offroad

Where did you find it? And the red stitched 4x4 knob? Never saw one like that

so the stock measurements from the middle of the hub to the fender was 20 inches on the front and 21.5 on the back. After the lift the fronts are at 22 and the rear is sitting around 23.25 (driver side) and 23.5 on the passenger side (I have a full tank of gas and a sub on the drivers side) The springs are likely to settle a bit

Nice. After settling, I’d like to end up with 1.5-2” and would likely go with the medium springs all around. I’ll be interesting to see where yours settles at.

Dropped in a rear cargo mat, YitaMotor (eBay/Amazon special). The fitment is great, and the price was right, and it doesn't smell like Harbor Freight!

hahaha. The china freight smell on plastics is real! Sometimes it’s really unbearable. Although on my latest visit to harbor freight, the cheap unrefined plastic smell in the air seems to be less severe.

Pump gas before the crazy weather tomorrow and this is the first mpg check after 285s. (Fit 285 -> pump full tank of gas -> Reset trip & avg mpg (refuel mpg reset automatically i guess) -> Pump full tank of gas again after 270 miles.
This was city only driving. Just groceries, doctor visits & pain full long wait school runs..:p
Instrument cluster seems more accurate with 285s when it comes to speed and mpg than stock 265s.

Nice setup. I also have the same DD grill lights and fogs. How do you like the DD ditch lights? They might be on my list for next lighting upgrade.

The lights are very bright for being small. hope to use them soon in a situation where I really need them. I like the low profile brackets. Yeah I saw that thread after I ordered the Cali Raised switch. I might just order some from AOB and replace. They’re fairly easy to install.

I called toyota as the dealer does not give you anything on a we owe form. Toyota customer support did confirm that they are short on fobs and will be sending me one when they get it. They looked up my Vin and confirmed that the dealer was telling the truth. Once the fob comes in, I have to go to toyota for them to program it in.

New around here, mostly hang out on TW. We bought the wife a 2021 TRD off-road to complement my 2019 Tacoma.

Today I put a redarc brake controller, a set of husky mats, and a new set of stock size K02’s. Plan to use the 4R to pull our camper to TN the day after Christmas.

That's just about the best I saw this last summer with the SC on it. Now that we're in winter I'm happily at 15.4 and dropping lol

Today is the 1st day of winter and storm coming this weekend,so tested out my 4 hi and 4 lo ...just to be ready for winter. then I lubed my shifter linkage as it felt tight and hard to shift. WD40 worked great! (thinking white lithium grease would last longer next time?)

I think since the tires like Toyo OC AT3, Cooper Discoverer AT34S are relatively light weight tires could get little mpg advantage.

Coopers (one of the lightest) -

Looks great! What made you decide to upgrade the UCAs? Getting the Westcott lift installed on my '22 Pro in a couple weeks and I keep going back and forth on upgrading to Dobinsons UCAs or keeping factory UCAs... Westcott says upgrading isn't necessary, local overland shop is recommending I get the Dobinsons. I'm pretty OCD about this stuff so just want to make sure I get it done right. Never going to do major rock crawling in this thing, mostly just casual overlanding / camping. I'll keep the factory Nitto 265's for a while and then likely swap out to Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 275/70/17 later.

I installed a remote head for my Uniden scanner. I used a 3D file for a SPOD switch that fits in the sunglass holder and modified it a bit to fit the scanner head.I got some on ebay to print it for $25 . I also routed a 5v usb adapter for the dash cam on the same power cable.

What is this button? I see some 4Runners have it, some don't, regardless of trim level.

I was able to get rid of the annoying rattle/flapping noise at various speeds by removing the flimsy oem splash guards and replacing them with the ARK splash guards

For me it was just for more adjustability for alignments. Yes you are correct that Westcott says changing them isn’t needed and my shop said it wasn’t 100% necessary but I wanted to do it as I’ve done them on my last 3 lifts. Stronger and easy ball joint replacement when needed. Plus the SPC’s are some of the best in the industry.

Installed King adjustable shocks and Icon control arms Monday set the lift in front at 2". I left the 1.5" Cornfed spacers on the rear until I decide what goes in the back (refrigerator) and which rear bumper I choose. Method MR312 bronze wheels and 285/70R17 M/T Baja Boss A/Ts on today. Alignment in the morning and off to Sedona in the afternoon for Xmas.
