Went to Breakfast, Cabela's then Hawk Mountain hike for fall foliage W/my little bride. Had to take a nice detour(thanks to RR doing repairs on road)
on narrow winding single lane "Not Maintained in Winter" road. The wife said this looks like a place to get murdered! LOL, Told her that's why I have CCP 9mm. Then to a nice bar/restaurant for dinner. Great weather & day trip.

Gas in Canada averaged about $1.90/liter for the last 3 months. That’s about $7.20 per gallon. So about 140 gallons cost $1000. At 18 MPG that’s 2500 miles per month, 84 miles per day. Sounds about right for the typical long distance commuter.

Geez, I wouldn't spend that much on gas either. I'm at around $240/month with current gas prices. (Murica)

How much are you projecting to spend on electricity/charging per month? Do you have a level ii charger at your place?

Yes, level 2 at home 240v@32amps. About $5 for ~250 miles, probably 200 miles in the winter time. Supercharger will be more, I do most of my driving around the house.

@LuLu it is not THAT much smaller, not like I am going into a Corolla, we will be fine. It is not as tall, i give you that, but we moved from a Ram 1500 into the 4Runner, we will adjust. Cant have them all, well, you can, but not with my income.

I see boxes with TRD logo in the close background. What was in them? Those springs? If not, what? Where did you get it? How much? LOL

Those were the boxes for the TRD Pro wheels. I first had the lift kit, tires, and wheels on a 2020 TRD ORP. I didn’t like the color (black) so I had everything removed and put back on my white 2022 TRD ORP after I traded. Here is the finished (for now) product.

Oh nice! Looks really good that rig of yours. And that red on spring coils is super cool.

I thought that you may have bought some trd part, like brake pads or else and that's what those boxes were for and I got excited. It's been kind of difficult to get trd parts where I live. There is not enough of them in stock supposedly or at the dealerships. Currently I am waiting for Cold Air Intake, but I might end up getting some other brand. We will see.

I ended up going with a different brand for a cold air intake. I liked the look of the metal tube vs. the plastic is the only reason I went with something different.

Has the change in air intake made any noticeable difference on power or mpg?

I am thinking of going to the Eibach Stage 2 but not too sure about the spring ring; looks like it may be harder to adjust than the twin collar type.
Have you loaded it up in the back with gear? How does it sit with a load in it?
    Thanks,

Hard to say really as I did everything (lift kit, tires & wheels, cold air kit, and Pedal Commander) at the same time. It “feels” like it added a little something. It is definitely louder on hard acceleration.

Awesome idea! I will get that metal tubing too. But I need the filter to be enclosed. I am worried too much dust will get in it when going off road and in general.

What? An open air filter is a legit concern I would think…

I love the intake growl sound…much more than a rumbly exhaust. I’d get a CAI just for the sound, as silly as it might seem to some. But since I drive on a lot dusty conditions, the design would have to convince me I won't be overtaxing my filter.

Pumped air in to tires at Discount tire since my air compressor is broken. I guess Toyota sensors showing 3 psi less. Pumped 36 psi and Toyota sensors show its 33psi. Its the same psi on dash I took this from app as I forgot to take a pic after inflating and too lazy to go back to car.
    Screenshot_20221024_094009.jpg

Meantime I wonder what is the logic for low psi. 1 tire showing highlighted at 28 psi and same when its 29psi. Very strange logic imo.
