I try to do my own maintenance or repairs whenever I can. I got lazy with the free oil changes. I had my Taco for 11 years, and it only saw the garage for alignments and state inspections.

I think you are spot on.

It must have taken a few miles to get up to this speed. The fastest I have ever gone (not talking about flying) was ~145 mph on my motorcycle (it was maxed out). Needless to say I get the rush but since getting older (and wiser), that need for speed has kinda died a little. Also I believe those who want to speed should do so solely on a closed track. Granted we don’t know if he was on a track or not so who am I to judge (must have needed to be a decent size track). If someone let me drive a Bughatti I would surely put it through the paces but I would want a lot of seat time beforehand, so my desire to speed is not dead. Just controlled.

Oh yes. Remember to get the radiator cap too. :) She will be even more in love with you. I cant get the radiator cap as of yet, because my rig is 2023 and the dealership asks for a vin a I am told that it is too early for those parts to be widely available for newer models. It doesnt make much sense to me. Same engine as 2022, 2021, 2020.....Or I am just wrong.

Anyway, get them all if you can. Dont tell your wife. How often does she look under the hood?? Huh?

Finally got 5x 285 SL Toyo OC AT3s on the 4R.

Minor trim for rubbing. No shimmy. Woohoo!

DT did a great job of installing and road force balancing.

    Details on my build thread.

Hey Jacob - one question on the 2 cupholderhero pads that fit into the round cupholders - do those fit into the oem rubber liners, or do you have to remove the liners? I like the liners, and don't want to remove them if not necessary.

FYI, Amazon has that and cheaper than the dealership. And delivered to your door. Only $10 without the TRD.

His wife must not know about his mods. That's the point. And the TRD mark is important.

    1. Much thicker than stock.
    2. Sit very tight, no flapping.
    3. Reach over the spring coil by increasing the coverage area.
    4. 4runners on youtube have them too....lol

Just on the front of the front wheel wells. Only trimmed 1” at the closest point. See images below.
The rear of fronts are close to the mud flaps but clear 92BE1EFB-3A27-414E-B090-30A0526B75FA.jpgAD8A5F90-514D-4D14-B315-FE0E5C5B4F64.jpg

As you can see from the images, the Pros have had the front well covers moved forward so all I had to do was trim the bottom of the plastic bumper piece. Non-Pro’s might have to do the simple wheel well cover relocation. That process is explained in detail elsewhere on the forums.

Good to know! Eventually (after we actually get the Pro later this month), we'll put some bigger tires on it. Seems like 285's might actually be an option. Had to do similar with my Tundra but in the back.
