I had the TRD Pro with the Toytech spacer 3” lift. I upgraded to the Toytech boss with the 700lb coils up front.

From the ride home, i am really liking it so far. Tomorrow i am also going to check if i want to extend my brake line as insurance for flexing off-road, seems like it is streched to max but i will test tomorrow.

You're at 2" in the back, the shocks and OEM control arms will limit your drop enough as to not damage the lines. I'm about 3/4" higher in the back than you are with no issues. It wouldn't hurt anything to do it but you don't have to.

I was more concerned about the front lines. Especially after going to the SPC uca.

You're more than fine up front. I was worried also, contacted ToyTec about it. I was told neither are required, rears were not a bad idea, fronts are of no concern at all.

Jack it up under the frame so the front suspension can go to full drop, you have plenty of room.

Thats good to know, and im sure when my 4x4 shop had it on the lift they would have notified me if there was an issue, especially since they went the extra mile to fix what toyota did on my last oil change.

That's why I don't use the free oil change crap they include. I do my own oil changes every 5K miles. The $60 is well worth it to know it was done right. I do everything myself though, I trust no one.

Yea that is what im doing form now on. They messed up my RCI lca skids(dont know why they needed to be removed in the first place) were clanking and i found out they were missing parts or placed in the wrong place. My engine plate was on sideways and only held in by one bolt, and my oil drain plug was barely in, and was about to lose it any day.

Exactly, i was told my dealership ofter send modified vehicals to my lift shop because they have no clue what they are doing, and since my lift shop is often booked toyota has to try and work on modified vehicles and end up breaking stuff.

I'd personally never go to them for anything besides warranty and even then it would depend what it is. Unless it's something big, I'd rather buy the part and just do it myself.

I dont plan on it! This is the second toyota to dissapoint me here, other one spilled a whole bottle of oil on my engine and had a pool of oil in my skid and gloves, and failed to clean it.

Was last Friday..... Bilstein TRD suspension installed on my 2018 ORP. Rides 10,000 times better than stock. So happy I got it! Frame is level and maintained a 1” rack. Next up, tires....2B15A806-6FFB-45C2-BBED-5EFCCB8988B8.jpg 615433B1-ED06-4CDB-A761-9FF93E34AB42.jpg

I’m very torn honestly.... I have a trip up to Canada and feel a good AT tire is needed for my wife’s families land up there.

The front runner is the General Grabber AT2. Good both on and off road for what I’ll be doing. The KO2 I’ve heard great stuff and some bad about wear issues there. Falken Wildpeak are pretty inexpensive however a very heavy option at 47lbs vs. 42lbs for the AT2.

    See my issue? Ha

I run the Toyo Open Country A/T great reviews, i have about 20k and look brand new. Only complaint is on a wet road at a dead stop, acclerating sometimes causes the rear tires to spin and activate my traction control.

This looks good, did you use L brackets? I am going to try this in the morning. Did you mount on the plastic below and behind the silver valance?

Perhaps someone here can answer for me... is the Softex in all 5th gen 4runners or just the facelift models? I have a 2012, and I'm trying to figure out if I'm running Softex or Leather? Thanks!
