i bought the lights a few years ago from caliraised. I’m pretty sure most flush mounts will work just fine. There’s space behind the bumper

First, that is a clean set up, nice work. I want it!!
Did this mounting plate come with the kit? Only one thing I don't like, looks like you have to drill holes for the switch panel. Is that correct? SmartSelect_20220217-091658_Samsung Internet.jpg

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Common thing to have happen. Last week I hit the window disable switch on the driver's door without noticing it and couldn't open any windows but the driver's side. My nephew suggested checking if there was a window disable button and sure enough that was it. Stuff happens.

Thanks! The PowerTrays didn't come with the switch pro kit, it was additional ($330 I believe). I will have to look to see if you have to drill holes, but I believe you do. I didn't do the install, had a local shop do it (CaliRaised Off Road in Buena Park). All that wiring, I'd certainly electrocute myself... :)

The powertrays come in many different configurations based on what you want to achieve. I wanted a dual battery configuration so I used this one and modified it a bit. I wish the hardware for attaching the tray to the fender well had better access.

I added a Wireless CarPlay module so now, the moment I start my vehicle, my phone is connected via CarPlay. No need to plug in at all. Super easy... took less than 2 mints to connect the first time Less than 30 seconds now when starting up. The unit is tiny... maybe 2.5X4" or so... Fits nicely in either of the two small cubby next to/below the USB connections.

here's a Link. It DOES come from overseas, so it takes a few weeks to deliver. I bought one of these first for my Girlfriend last year (Lexus) and hers has worked perfectly... no issues. So after making her my guinea pig, I decided to get one for myself.

    https://carlinkitcarplay.com/produc...0.rlqBMOWH1iN1qrha7-eg6vgp8tiWmoqe-2r-Fx_bxuU

I also added a very cool phone holder. It automatically opens side and bottom gates when I start the car. Put the phone in, tap a side button and it closes and aligns the phone for magnetic charging. Routed my charging cable behind the dash so there's no exposed wires except a few inches on either end.

With both of these add-ons, I can wirelessly Charge and use CarPlay.

Here's a link to the Phone holder...

and my install of it (before the CarPlay module went in)...

There's a large cup at the end... it uses adhesive + suction. The long flexible rod part then has a clip (removable if you don't need it) that uses 3M adhesive and acts as a stabilizing "support" to the end of the long flexible shaft. The shaft is bendable in infinite directions.

You can see it better in this shot. The "suction + adhesive" part is ROCK solid. The smaller "bridge" support piece didn't stick well at first, but after pressing it for a while, it seems to have taken hold. It's not needed in this arrangement though, just an extra measure of stability.

That’s a good setup. When routing the wire behind the radio/dash panel did you have to shave any plastic away or did the covers just snap over the wire OK?

I probably should've cut a small (non-visible notch) in the small panel under the AC controls / above the USBs (where it exits right by theUSB). But I just let it pinch. It's just a standard Large USB to USB-C... if it gets damaged down the road, it's easy to replace. All I did was pop-off the lower section with all the AC controls, run the wire behind that and then pop it back in, trapping the cable. There's not much pressure or sharp edge where it goes in or out. And there no noticeable gap where it enters/exits, either.

I got this Phone Holder because I wanted a Charge MagSafe holder, but couldn't find one that didn't block an AC vent. This was as close as I could get. it DOES magnetic charging, but the magnetic part doesn't hold the phone on, it's those auto-arms on the sides and bottom. It's in there very solid.

So I assume that mount can come off without any damage or noticable markings on the dash?

Yes. the adhesive is standard automotive 3M adhesive. No residue. I had to pull them both off a couple times while positioning, after sticking them down hard. I would imagine that after a while, there might be some sun fading around those, though.

when I did this, I unplugged the USB from behind that plug and mounted everything in the dash. No cables or anything in view. The only challenge with this wireless adaptor is that there is a delay when watching youtube (I do this at lunch while at work sitting still).

I considered doing the "behind the dash" connection, but I have three USBs there, and also have to carry around 2 phones (work cell and personal cell) so being able to swap things around is helpful.

Never thought about watching YouTube on the dash screen! I should try that.

But over all, it sure is nice to not have to plug in every time I get in.

I really like the BFG KO2's. Do you have stock suspension or do you spaces, or a lift?

I did Search and Rescue here in Virginia for about 8 years. I really enjoyed it. You get great training, get to play in the woods, and help your community. I had to stop after I broke wrist on an unrelated hiking trip. I could have worked base, but that just not me.

Thanks for what you are doing.

Today was another subtle item added— some from shackles…. Mainly just for cosmetic not recovery. My vehicle is black and slowly adding red accents here and there.

Had one more i was able to knock out today also- blacked out the rear chrome Emblem and name.

also- if there are any fellow Runners in Fort Wayne that might want a Black Out hit me up. Ill just give it to you.
Yep no BS ill just hand it over to ya. Only “String” is when we meet be in your Runner!
Its a full TRD OFF Road blackout set- see pic.
There’s an extra front grille black out shown and although im switching to the Pro grille i think i want to keep that black out for it anyway.

Thanks to my son @2016 4Runner SR5 who is a Cornfed dealer, we installed a leveling kit in my 2019 SR5. It makes a nice difference, no more front rake. I'll get pics tomorrow.
