Installed aluminum sliders from Greenlane in Canada. A bit pricey, but fit and finish is perfecto!
Feels rock solid compared to OEM running boards. I don't ever plan on rock crawling and wanted something that won't rust.

Very nice. I’m considering those also. Are they wide enough to stand on comfortably to reach the roof?

Yes they are zero degrees out, as wide as the OEM boards. Standing on them is not a problem even with doors closed, my kids get in and out easily.

Took about 3wks from ordering til they showed up at my house.

It was a total of $1067 US dollars for powder coated finish and shipped. That's pricey to me :)

Ohh I thought Aluminum would be so damn expensive compared to steel options like the skid plate options. Looks like cheaper than steel DOM Powder coated ones.

Installed a 12v 300w Dernord water heater (off of Amazon) into the Front Runner footwell water tank, before completing the water system install. Tested before installation with an outside temperature of 62F and the initial water temperature of 59F. Just shy of 5hrs later (with monitoring every hour for ~5-minute interruptions collecting outside, water and heater temperatures, and house battery drain) it raised the water temperature to 103.8F. CAUTION: The heater rod gets close to 400F while in use. Average water temperature increased 5F (initial 1-2hrs) - 9F (later 3-5hrs). Pros: Compact and lightweight (single-component system without other needs), Keeps water tank from freezing, Warm bathing water. Cons: Draws a whopping 14amp using ~70-80ah in 5hrs while parked in garage without charging house battery (this can be replenished by heating during driving when the alternator charges the house battery at 30amp), Nervewracking to drill a hole anywhere in any water tank (While the heating rod can be installed directly, I installed a bulkhead-like base to install the rod through. The bulkhead base is installed through a tight cutout for better sealing (???); NOT certain the inside grab nut will hold down the road, nor figuratively or literally).

Did the rear lift tonight, planning on the front tomorrow. Eibach Pro Lift Kit 1" rear springs and Pro shocks. Gained 1.5" average lift actually instead of 1", maybe it'll settle maybe not, that's in the ballpark of what I was looking for.

Well…. My wife knocked to power folding mirror on drivers side out of wack. I had to take it apart and realign the actuator. Seems to be all good now….:)

Forgive me if this is not the right forum for this post, but does anyone know if the mounting points for running boards/steps on the ‘22 TRD Off Road are the same as the ones on the ‘21 OR? I’m assuming they are, but I just want to make sure before I order something. Most places don’t have the option for ‘22 models yet. Thanks in advance.

The old gutter guard in the grill trick. One of the cheapest and most functional mods, ever. Pic is after a quick power wash. 15 hour road trip, came up on a hay trailer north of "lil rock". Radiator was still clean and free of debris.

I did the front last night, gained about 1.75 inch. It took about 13 turns downward from the factory setting on the coilovers to get to the level I was looking for. There's about 1/4 in of threads exposed left on the coilovers.
Before Pic is top and Post lift is bottom, my garage has about 3deg of slope down to the rear of the car.
Really happy with the new stance!

    They are the same.

However, you really should get rock sliders instead of running boards.

Put the Front Runner footwell water tank back where it belongs. So far, NO leaking. Next, the house battery and RedArc Redvision.

I left about 3/4 inch of rake. Will try hooking up my 2 boat trailers (16ft wooden skiff & 13ft aluminum fishing boat) later on and see how much the rear comes down. If it sags too much I'll probably drop the front a little more to compensate.

I replaced my tires with Kumho Venture AT51's. Immediate benefit as I really like the ride better than the Ironman All Country tires my 4R came with. Can't wait to try them out in the snow!
