Oh no! Not the great toe Charlie Brown.
Two days before I was going to drive to Downey Off-Road to pickup a T/C skid plate for my ‘93 P/U, I broke my big toe on my clutch foot. I asked my Wife to drive me out there, which seemed ok to her.
Although we both dreaded the LA traffic seen, l wanted to go so that I could install it while I was off work for two weeks.
It turn out to be the worst day of her life because of having me as her passenger. She should have just swung her purse around and knocked me out.

What I've done to my 5th Gen. 4Runner today:

    1) oil change.
    2) greased drive shafts.
    3) sprayed penetrating oil on several nuts and bolts in preparation for my upcoming suspension lift kit install.

Bilstein 6112/ 5112 suspension. RCI sliders, ARB skid plates, Icon UCA’s, Icon 2” rear coils, TRD LED fog lights, 30” LED light bar. TSO Grille. 285/70/17 BFG KO2’s, Icon Vector 6 wheels. Weathertech floor mats. 2.5”/ 2” lift. K&N CAI.
Spray painted Lower front valance. Flat black Rustoleum looks better than glossy black on TRD Pro and matches upper valance. Surprised how easy this is to do- didn’t need to take off bumper.

"Panic Brake" on the Blue Route? So it was a normal drive on the BR. Such terrible drivers on there

Not a major Mod and I already have ideas on how to improve upon it but I needed something for fishing that kept the poles off the heads of passengers for the trip down. I have an outside rack for when I am on the beach that I can keep my longer 10' pole on for ease of grabbing while moving spots on the beach itself, I just like the poles in the car for the 2 hour drive from home. The rack itself is just an old piece of shelf bracket that I had laying round and I cut to length, pvc pipe and zip ties. In the front I bought a strap online for cheap, but you could easily make this yourself.

    What I noticed.
    * If you flip this over and hang the tubes on bottom you can get a longer but pole in but it takes up more room in the hatch. I ended up doing this but didn't take a photo. With them up the butt of the pole hits the ceiling
    * I am cutting the tubes longer (8" instead of 5") and cutting a keyway to hold the reel at an angle and stop any swinging
    * If you wanted to you could drill a hole in the attachment point hook and put a bolt/wing nut. I just zip tied it.

Added lights under the driver/passenger cabin and upgraded all interior bulbs to LED. Best $20 upgrade ever. Includes 16 bulbs: 2 side mirror puddle, 2 license plate, 4 doors, 2 trunk lids, 2 vanity, 2 Front Cabin lights, 1 glove box, 1 Main cabin.

Old cabin lights have an amber tint compared to the cab lights that are upgraded:

White letters in they are nothing but a pain to keep clean and look horrible when dirty not to mention the black rubber is thin on that side that covers the white strip of the lettering...

    All of them.
Used it to go get more stuffs for the house. We are selling our house and building. Hopefully Friday we will know where. I am looking at three plots 1st one that I really really want is 35 acres backs right up to a creek and mostly wooded back in there. The next is 27.5 acres smack dab in the middle of no where and no wooded area (my Least favorite) and the next is 24 acres that connects to a farm with lots of moo cows my daughters absolute favorite) and some nice wooded area in the back left corner

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Also if you happen to have a wife who likes the tires to get up close and personal with curbs, they get ugly pretty quickly.

I use a sharpie and it works just as good as tire paint that others say is a must. Clean the whites and sharpie or paint them black. Because our rigs sit high, whites look just as stupid on the inside the tire

Cool setup. I am looking at more of a quick release as I only want to put it in during the fall season and for random trips not full time. I might steal some of their ideas but build it myself... more fun to tinker.

I had Grabbers on my '05 Grand Cherokee, whites to the inside. I used tire paint and never had to re coat them in the 15,000 miles that were on them when I traded it in for the Runner. One can is plenty.

    Got my first oil change done. dealer wants $105+tax;
I was at 2300 miles and i wanted the factory oil out; i went full synthetic and will do 5000-6000 miles intervals as we do a lot of country roads and not much stop and go; using oem filter
It was a total mess as the baby is soiled in rustproof undercoating, but the satisfaction of getting it done myself is worth it :)

It's unclear from the the way you worded your post but just in case you didn't know, your truck comes from the factory with full synthetic oil and that's what recommended for use. In fact, 0w20 only comes in synthetic

There is a white plug for power seat. I use power/ground from it. Installation took me 15mins each. Mount led it just stick right below the seat . LED stripe have enuf glue to hold it.

I didnt take any pic, but there is 3 white wires 1 for ignition, 1 for ground . if you have voltage meter you can easy check.

Did you need anything else for the OEM LED fogs? Do they flicker any?
