Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I think it's more from the sun drying out the top of the 'wheel.

My son's Honda did this over the years, I think at the low rate of problems it may be more about what people chemistry is or the lotion or cleaner they use on their hands. Sometimes it is in maintenance meds people take. I would say the COVID-19 daily alcohol/disinfectant may produce a rash of them soon.

I've been using hand sanitizer since I bought my truck in 2018 and don't have any peeling. I doubt that's it.

I don't use any cleaners on the steering wheel or Softex. Only water and a rag.

Hey what kind of rack is that you have? By chance is it the LFD off-road bars and wind fairing?

I've seen those liners, where did you get them? I've seen them on Amazon. After cleaning from our trip I decided they'd work good for me.
For years I have used hand sanitizer after fill up & ATM's. I used to also rub it on steering wheel until I read the OP issue W/his steering wheel. I stopped doing that. Mine is garage kept & I have a windshield sun screen when parked in the open, the sun is a killer.

Nice, I ordered those liners. I have thought about it before, your pics made me just do it!
Was checking the 1 CC i use for work & saw Sirrius XM had a $65.++ on it 13-OCT-2020. I remembered getting a notice in the mail back last summer, looked at my Sirrius acct & they did in July, come to find out it's $65.++ for a 3 month subscription:crazy:. I got onto my acct. chatted with a Heather told her I never received another notice & she said it's automatic. I said if it's $65.++ for 3 months I'm cancelling. So for another $15.19 I have it until 18-OCT-2021. I really hate FM stations, same songs, commercials even though my commute is 20+ minutes got spoiled & hate when on the boat listening to 1 local FM station. Sirrius REALLY made the vacation drive SO much better even in the mountains!

One day, I see myself replacing the whole steering wheel with an aftermarket option and rigging up some old Nintendo controllers or something for the buttons.

When dealership was T Shooting my dumba$$ mistake on window issues they obviously dis-connected batt. So had to reset all radio presets, but I didn't have my Bruins startup screen shot saved on the stick I thought. Just got it & back to the way I wanted it!:D:yes:

Yes Sir, that's exactly what I have.

I put the traction boards up there for a off road trip but won't be leaving them up there.

Just a guess; parking sensors? It is way to cold here for me to go look. You wouldn't think they would leave the plug open to the elements like that.
Just my thoughts. Someone will know for sure.

You may be right. I do not have parking sensors and that would make sense. Also, do agree that it is odd that they’d just leave it like that.

Someone lost a lot of money with that build! It might look good with proper wheels and tires but I cannot overlook them.
Is their a build list? That's a lot of powder coating!

Couple more. I’ve adjusted them low and they blend right into the headlights beam. Probably a bit lower than the manual calls for but aiming them higher leaves a dark gap between the front of the car and the fog light lower cutoff. This way they provide a nice fill to the headlights and I shouldn’t be blinding oncoming traffic

Finally got my brackets for the awning to use with the stock roof rack. Will probably only use for another month or so waiting for my full rack, but couldn’t wait any longer to use the awning!

you have to be EXTREAMLY DILLIGENT with sirius xm, mark it on your calendar to call and renew the week before it expires. never give them a cc number, if you forget, then BAM!! $100 + for 6 months. i call every 5 3/4 months, tell them i dont listen that much, complain about the commercials on the comedy channels, and what ever they want is to much and not worth it. got my next 6 months for $31. i have them send a bill, then my wife sends a check. been doing that for the last 2 1/2 years.
i agree, it is nice on vacation, traveling, but we only get to do that once a year. and its not worth there cost in a daily driver, a usb would do fine.

Installed my LFD crossbars. Cannot speak highly enough of their product quality as well as their service. Also they only took 5 days to get here from the time I bought them so that was a pleasant surprise. Excited to get an awning and room now.

Not too bad, I only noticed it when I had the music off and was really paying attention to it. The kayak racks I had on the stock cross bars were far worse.
