The Coopers will be better in wet conditions with those directional rain grooves. The Grabbers will perform very similarly to a BFG KO2.

Kevin be careful on the Falkens if you choose them. I returned my 3 sets could not get them balanced. The coopers look good!!

I see you're in Ohio, how are the Ridge Grapplers in snow?
I'm real close to getting a set in 285/70R17.

We rarely get snow in S. Missouri but I have family up in Michigan & Illinois.

The only nose dive I notice with my Eibach suspension is during panic braking.
    For everyday stopping it's gone.

Sounds good. Just curious why your not going with 285’s unless I missed one of your post I did not see. Your going with 275’s correct. Will you be lifted high enough for 285’s?

Added a AVS bugflector and then picked up some 285/70/17 Cooper Evolution MTs.

Next will be rock sliders and TRD grille.

On my Non-KDSS OR pre-lift, I noticed nosedive in normal stop and go traffic.

RE Panic stops, I do the same but, had some chick run a stop sign into the 2 lane highway I was going 55 on.
I laid on the horn and the brakes and stopped with plenty of time. She just sat there and looked dazed an confused.

Good choice I had them on my Tacoma and they are a great tire not loud at all, move water on highway like crazy, work well in winter, I ended up adding some more sipes to mine and I tell ya what they worked even better when stopping on slick icy roads here in Ohio... you won’t be disappointed with the coopers that’s for sure...

@KSapanza4Runner has a great looking truck. I got to check out some of his mods when we met for him to pick up the AVS - he has the Eibach Pro Truck lift - struts, shocks, & springs

275's will be perfect then if you're only going to the first lift clip (0.85").

Good.......stock wheels are easiest. There are some reports of people rubbing with 275's, but if you dial in your alignment you should be fine. Ask your alignment shop to get your caster somewhere around 3.2 degrees and then do a test to see if you rub on the front fender flare or mudflap. I think you should be all clear around that caster number.

So far no noticeable rubbing on the fronts. I did a fit test originally and checked the clearance as I turned the wheels far left/far right and everything looked good so far. Most I’ll have to do maybe is minor trimming or taking off the mud flaps but we’ll see after I drive on them more and check them on the trails.

We almost never get more than a few inches of snow in my area. They've been great though.

One storm last year dumped an icy/snow mixed mess. Many vehicles spun out/ gave up trying to drive up the hill on my street. I drove right up the hill...was in 4HI (didn't even try it in 2WD)

Some like them, I hated them. Decent in snow, horrible in the rain. I took them off after 6000 miles and sold them.

I have successfully upgraded my 2014-2020 Toyota 4Runner SR-5 to use TRD Pro mirrors with turn signals and puddle lamp.

This project would not have been possible without the retrofit wiring harness and detailed instructions provided by Tanner, aka Old Red. With his kit, you can upgrade the standard heated mirrors on a 2014-2020 Toyota 4Runner SR-5 to also include the side mirror turn signal and puddle lamp found TRD Pro mirrors. In upgrading my 2019 SR-5, I used aftermarket TRD Pro mirrors with the aftermarket sequential LED turn signals. I've posted the finished results on YouTube. Total project cost was $270 for all three products.

If you would like more information on the retrofit wiring harness, which was made using OEM Toyota components, visit Old Red's Instagram page.

Apparently some people have a thing called patience. I am not one of those fortunate ones either. If I buy something I want it before I think about something else.
Then again I tend to procrastinate... I wish it was across the board with energy and enthusiasm. I guess life & reality takes care of all positive thoughts! Lol

Bilstein 6112/ 5112 suspension. RCI sliders, ARB skid plates, Icon UCA’s, Icon 2” rear coils, TRD LED fog lights, 30” LED light bar. TSO Grille. 285/70/17 BFG KO2’s, Icon Vector 6 wheels. Weathertech floor mats. 2.5”/ 2” lift. K&N CAI.
Beat my ARB steel front skid plate back into shape with a hammer. I like the look of the TRD skids, but they don’t fit with KDSS so I went with ARB. I’m glad I did because I would have destroyed the aluminum a couple times over- though aluminum is probably easier to repair- especially if you leave it raw. I guess I need to get better at missing rocks if I go with aluminum!

I had the same issues with the Falkens went through 2 sets never balanced right even with road force balancing then went with Goodyear Durtrac no issues what so ever i am really happy with them.
