Am I the only crazy person here that puts 6.5 quarts in their 4Runner so I can save the other half a quart for the next oil change?

    Nope.
And I also got enough oil and filters for the next 3 changes.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Same here. I really do not think the .1 qt. is going to make a difference at all, certainly not going to cause wear or damage.

I always chuckle at the additional 0.1qt it says to add. Good luck trying to measure 0.1qt out of the oil container. Do they really expect us to be measuring this shit with a graduated cylinder? lol

Upgraded to the Aluma series and have the Boss 2.5 Coilovers with rear shocks(non rebuildable ones that are good) and the rear non heavy duty superflex coils for rear. Suspension is in good condition and I highly recommend for anyone in need of bang for buck. I had some disposable cash to upgrade and went for it in the Aluma series, which is nice. The coilovers are fully rebuildable, but doesn’t need it. Toytec obviously rebuilds for probably 150 per, but you probably know that. You will need to buy the hardware, the diff drop kit and bump stop kit from Toytec, but thats easy peasy. Its great suspension and trying to find a suitable person to buy. Ideally someone that will actually use their 4runner. Too many shiny rhinestone laced 4runners driving around. Anyways picture will have dirty suspension bc that’s awesome. Photo doesn’t show the rear coils/springs, but I have them. 800$. I feel this is a solid deal.

Cleaned out the KDSS stabilizer guard, after reading about someone else's KDSS system failing due to corrosion in that area. And yes, it was packed full of dirt, almost solid. Painted it afterwards, for the upskirt shots.

Sounds good. I’m going to place my fogs soon. Not sure if I’m going bajadesigns or diode. I’m leaning towards the diodes in the Pro series. I like my amber bajadesigns light bar.

Diode Dynamics SS3 pro are far better than the Baja SAE fogs. It's not even a contest. They're 3 times as bright with nearly twice the width, and they don't glare like the Bajas do. Go for the SS3.

Thanks Tory, There the ones I’m leaning towards. Waiting to see if there is a Black Friday special. That’s I got my tail in turns for the rear on Labor Day special.

And I installed this phone mount from course motor sports. He may have messaged y’all looking for testers, and appears to have gotten banned for it lol. The mount is great, tho6F42DB42-58EC-420A-9C9F-0955C39F1B4F.jpg

The sport/racer/pro Baja squadrons are great as ditch lights (obviously for offroad only). But the fog light champion is the SS3.

How do you like it? They hit me up on the other Toyota forum and also on corvette forum for my Vette. I passed on them because I have one for both vehicles.

Would you happen to have a comparison involving the Toyota LED fogs? Your knowledge is far past mine & I wouldn't even know what to search.
I know they aren't the name brand ones but for about $125 I really like the output and value of them.
    Thanks,
    Ryan

This is the master thread for all fog lights. In the list of links at the top of the first post, you can see the OEM Toyota fogs (along with the others).

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-led-sae-j583-fog-pod-fog-light-review.554813/

Just keep in mind that the Diode SS3 sport fog lights are often marked down to a very reasonable price. Black Friday pricing usually puts them around $160 for the kit. A bargain for the performance, and the pros are even better.

Nothing super exciting here other than getting ready for winter by having Fluid Film applied to combat the awful NY salt they throw on the roads.

If you're looking for some extra street-legal punch, look into a set of SAE J581 driving lamps. They're legal to use as auxiliary high-beams (no opposing traffic). Diode makes those too.

Black rhino wheels, falken tires, blackout over lays, d hook tie down points, slee sliders
Finally got my slee sliders installed. They look great but were a pain in the ass to get on. I’m not a mechanic but not a novice either. They seriously took all day. I was using a motorcycle jack to hold them up which worked well but also slowed the process down. Drilling wasn’t bad but the biggest issue I had was getting the gas tank strap back on ( beware!) but ultimately I’m glad they’re on there!
