Finally got them on today. Super stoked to fit X5 33" tires in the back of the 4Runner before install. Fit four 255/80r17 between wheel well perfectly, plus room for spare with seats folded down.

Denver.... Tough to leave the Mile High city, but too good of an opportunity career wise to pass up.

Groovy. I moved to coastal northern California 18 months ago after a lifetime (39 years) in north eastern Ohio. I miss it, but I don't. Every time I get nostalgic for Ohio I go drive up in the mountains and I'm like: "nah, I'm good".

Check out this thread on TW, it's a good group of guys and they legit do some off road stuff, tech days, etc. There's some sweet nuggets about good off road routes and such buried within as well (most of those were posted by me):

Thanks for the info. The mountains will be missed for sure, but lots of good things out here to explore and enjoy. I'll check out the TW link and try to make some of their events. Enjoy No. Cal!

Full hand wash and exterior detail, F11 TopCoat applied. My good camera had a dead battery so some cell phone pics will have to do.

The low beams are a Hikari LED @ 6000k. The high beam is a Sylvania Silverstart zXe that is supposed to be 5500k but looks really yellow to me. I absolutely hate them and am trying to find a solution. It's tough with this vehicle because the way the DRL works is to send minimal voltage to the hi beam, so it runs dim as a DRL. The problem is that with an LED in there for color match, the low voltage is enough to completely light up the LED and your brights are on ALWAYS.

I have LEDs in the fogs too, but I'm considering getting @jake long15 w/ Cali Raised's LED Pod conversion.

Xeon depot has some that dim for the hi beam, but really pricey. For the fogs i have, and getting installed soon the Toyota 2in1 led/drl fog lamps

Adjustable coilover with ~2" of lift up front, Bilstein 5100s all around, just leveled. Tires are Cooper AT3 265/70r17.

    Wheels are Black Rhino Sidewinders.

Thanks, rides much better than stock now too. Feels great over uneven terrain...better than my Tundra. :(

Was considering bigger tires but I feel pretty great about it as is.

I drove tonight and toyota did not adjust the fogs, found out driving that they are higher than my lo beams, was blinding the crap out of others, gives me something to do tomorrow.

Would completely deactivating the DRLs solve the issue of the brights being on constantly?

Is the convex part independently adjustable (by hand)? Or is it one piece with the flat mirror and moves with that mirror?

It's not independently adjustable. It moves with the mirror.

Can you give any more info on "removing the clips that hold the mirror"? I looked at the mirror today and while I can see the clips, there's no good way to access them. I suppose I could poke a dental pick in there and try to lever the clip down but is there a better / more obvious way?
