    This is how it starts.

In a few short months, you'll have this in the back.

From 17 until about 25 years old that was me. My very first system was 4 12s... For a little while I did a bit of competing back in very early 2000s. Street db and spl meets. I've had many different setups. Four 15s, two 18s, four 12s, four 10s... I've hit up to a legal 156db at the rearview on a TL meter. But my
favorite setup was a single 12, hit a 143, but was the cleanest sounding SQ setup with deep SPL. Loved that. But I haven't had a single subwoofer since 2006 or 2007.

The only thing I might would do these days is a single DDAudio 1506. It's a little 6.5" subwoofer. But, it's a little beast. Just enough to feel that SPL without going down the rabbit hole or taking up much space.

How do you like your Toyo open country AT3 in P rating? Is it smooth and/or shaky on the road at highway speed’s?

They run smooth. I was able to test them in the rain today and I was impressed.

OK thanks for the reply. I was just wondering because I have the same tire in LT 6 ply and it feels a little harsh on the road.

Have you chalk tested your tires?

If not i would. They may be filled higher than needed. If so, and you lower the pressure you may get a smoother ride. Plus once you chalk test you'll know the actual ideal pressure to run them at, ideal for your exact vehicle... And that'll make the tires last longer.

Edit to add... My wildpeaks In 285s were filled to 32 by discount tire. Chalk tested they perform best at 34psi... When I'm going on long trips on the highway only I fill them to 35-36... More pressure, better MPG, but you also feel every bump more too, less pressure, to a point, is smoother, but fuel economy will drop a tad as well.

Offroad in deep sand or mud I may drop to 20. But raise it back up to 34 before I hit pavement. On lots of washboard dirt roads 30 works great and reduces some of the banging around...

Interesting. I haven't noticed anything abnormal but only had them for a week. I'll keep an eye out for any dark spots.

Going to start doing my own oil changes @ 20k. Have used dealer for free checks. Ordered aluminum Filter housing, tool & filter last night from Amazon $63.++ have < 500 till due. Used to due them on previous Tacoma/FJ's. Tacoma & 08 FJ was easy:yes:, 2012 FJ has same remote oil filter :annoyed::frustrated:

Got this installed this morning and took a 1 hour drive. The 4Runner feels like our old 2012 MDX as far as engine response, which is a good thing.

I had a 2016 SR5 with the third row seating, and those spaces have cup-holders in em.

Doesn’t make sense that they wouldn’t have built storage compartments into them for the other models.

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
While driving my 4Runner today, I saw not one but two FJ Cruisers. I don't know the last time I saw an FJ Cruiser in real life. I never knowingly saw one. I didn't know they existed until earlier this year. They were both parked in different places in Milltown, NJ, too.

    See them pretty regularly
See them pretty regularly around here. Loved my 08 & 12 would've bought a 15 instead of the Tacoma, IF they still imported them here:censored::frustrated:

I just watched a review of this. The lockout mode alone might be worth it if someone tries to steal the vehicle.

Where did you mount the light bar? I am wanting the behind grill mount but it is the wife's truck & it isn't necessary during current conditions. We hardly leave @ night anymore... cannot even plan a trip as everything is a ways away.
    Stupid state.

I'm surprised you haven't seen more.

There are 3 FJ's that reside within 5 minutes of my house. One is garage kept and the other two are driveway dwellers like my 4Runner.

Installed the TRD Pro grill today. Still haven’t decided if I actually like the Raptor lights enough to install them.
