    Nice!

That is one of the next projects for me. I was going to do it this weekend, but ran out of time.

    Looks good!

I clearly have "issues." I think the patches are totally cool and even started to collect them myself. However, I am just too damn OCD to put anything on my headliner. :-(

I put a ton of decals on the underside on the hood on my old TJ and got a lot of compliments when I raised the hood at lunch to get my burrito but the underside of the T4R is covered in a sound deadening pad and there really isn't a good place in the engine bay to cook a burrito or keep a burger warm.

You my friend are 100% correct...I would rather have teeth pulled than watch network TV. Now that’s one thing I avoid like a virus;). It’s amazing how much misinformation they put out and this includes the non-political local level! And they stupid amounts of money for it as well!

Thankful for me is that I have been ahead of the curve on social dissenting as I started well over 10 yrs ago! This info part is way out of control to the point of fights, stabbings and total stupidness. I am preparing myself, girlfriend and some very very close friends to ride this out for what's coming.

It's a Warn 100022 "Hybrid" Winch Bumper. I bought from this company who had the best price on google at the time. Reviews on the company are horrible but they shipped it to me within a week or so.

Current price is $592.27 w/ free shipping
    https://www.discountbandit.com/warn...MU5GgY_0XP5_6rfX8t9phrVx3H0slA54aAjEUEALw_wcB

Things I like about the Warn Bumper:

    1. Readily available on the shelf everywhere - no long lead times.
    2. Already powder coated black. No additional expense / hassle of finding a local powder coating shop.
    3. Holes already drilled for easy mounting of a front license plate.
    4. Heavy duty bumper plus easy to reach winch controls.
    5. Non-angled fairlead.

Only negative is no light bar mount. I went with a Cali Raised (out of Texas) behind the grill mount and light bar.

Couple more pics of the bumper:

    Warn side.jpg

    Warn Top.jpg

    Warn front.jpg

There's a bunch of good Hybrid winch bumpers out there. I'd been drooling over the Warn for awhile. Would've put one of a Tacoma or F150 if I'd bought one of those instead of the 4R.

Edited to add: Winch is a 10,000lb Warn VR10 with steel cable. Spent a couple days researching winches and landed on the Warn VR series of winches. Looks like Warn has discontinued the VR10 are replaced it with the VR10 EVO.

I've used it twice since installing it in July of 2019. Works good.

Down the road, I may replace the steel cable with lighter weight synthetic.

What makes a hybrid bumper hybrid? I've seen that term, don't know what it's referring to.

I gather hybrid means - not a full bumper. Maybe a blend of a hidden winch mount and a winch bumper?

Side note - I debated a true hidden winch mount like the Rago and SDHQ for it's lighter weight: https://sdhqoffroad.com/collections...current-toyota-4runner-sdhq-built-winch-mount

I like the Warn better - looks tough and prices are similar.

Unfortunately everywhere my wife or I went doing our normal shopping we found the same - grocery store, walmart, target, sams club.
I even found the frozen pizza, frozen vegetable, canned vegetable, dried beans, soap, sanitizer, and Kleenex sections bare with bottled water sections diminishing quickly - WTF???
I wonder how long this type of stupidity will last? Are people really expecting 350 million US population to be told to stay at home like Italy did? Don't people realize that our most populous state, California, is about the size of Italy but has 2/3 of the population of Italy, and that's just a single state.
The media around these parts, at least the ones I read/view are trying to keep this type of stupidity from happening - doesn't look like they've been successful...

So to get back on topic, today I removed the dealer's advertising sticker from the back of my 4Runner - bought the truck back in November, so it was on there pretty good. Then I washed it.

It's unfortunate that this is going to get a whole lot worse in the next few weeks with mandatory telework, retail shutting down and other this going into place across the nation. VA is talking of banning gun/ammo/alcohol sales along with IL,NJ and a few other towns throughout the States. America is not ready for this type of mess in the short amount of time. Everyone needs to prepare themselves and remember your friends,Family and neighbors.....We will get past this as we have other things in the past. It is media driven there is not doubt about it but is serious enough for all out preparedness.

Now is not the time to prepare, should have been ready back in Dec. At the latest. All those crazy preppers, still laughing at them?

On a side note. I'm still waiting on my ceramic coating to get here and i can start a real spring cleaning. Got some 70% alcohol on friday for removing the old wax and just ordered some black trim restore. Going to be a long day wed.

Yeah we have state run liquor stores in VA so that’s easy for them to do during a state of emergency
