Breezy is fine, if it gets a bit gusty you can drop the legs and anchor it down. I wouldn't leave it open if you're getting some big gusts at the beach or in a storm.

They really are a fantastic set of lights. Better than the OEM high beams imo.

Simple and easy. Parts from different sellers but all fit perfectly. I love the carbon fiber look!

Got surprised with a P0456 (after a “check fuel cap” warning a day or so ago) so I shotgunned a new gas cap at it.

Only after I opened the package and rendered it un-returnable I looked at the old gas cap and saw some small plastic bits (like that plastic T end piece they use to attach tags to clothing) stuck in the rubber seal.

So if the code doesn’t come back, that may have been it. That’ll teach me to not just look at it first!

Happened to me. I added some sea foam high mileage in a parking lot few years ago. And somehow left the cap dangling and the door open.Went for a 50 mile drive and saw it when I parked it back at home. Thankfully and strangely no CEL showed up.

Not only did I save $1.15 per gallon on gas (and only paid $1.54 for 87) but I averaged 20.5MPG for the tank.

I had 334 miles on the trip odometer before gassing up. Divide that by 16.285gallons of 87 Octane = 20.5MPG.

Today, it's $2.69/gallon for 87. But with my discount, I got it for a lot less.

Thats really cool thank you for sharing. How long does it tske to set up/take down? Can it be done with 1 person?

Do you think it would withstand a lot of wind?

Sort of lame but I like it and people that close the hatch seem to miss the OEM one. I was hoping it was a little longer than stock but it’s only about 1/8” longer.

Only thing i will say is the front mounts need mounted. It came with rivnuts. After drilling into the roof, its plenty thick to just drill and tap with m8x1.25. No worries because if you decide to remove the rack you can just fill the holes with silicone. Also use thread sealant so you dont have to worry about leaks.

So, in spite of their "no cutting or drilling" statement, it's needed after all?

that’s why I got a Sherpa, the consensus was no drilling and a great system to prevent leaks.
