Had you traveled through much standing water ? Only asking because I spend a lot of time in the Everglades. I travel through lots of water. Not up to the body but 2 1/2’ is normal. My truck sits up high though. I’m getting ready to start changing out fluids. Going to do it myself. Just one or 2 a month. Purchased a fluid pump. Just wondering if I should pre purchase the material to move my breather up higher

I tried that a couple of months back and the patch popped off as I was injecting the resin. I could never get those things to work for me.

So good news, bad news, good news again.

Good news is my diagnosis was right and it was the coil pack on cylinder 4, nothing else.
Bad news is my warranty considers that a wearable item like the spark plugs. So now it’s all out of pocket.
Good news again, just gonna have the dealership go ahead and do a tranny service since I’m almost at 200k, and since they have the old girl while they do the coil pack and check the plug to make sure it’s still good, which I would think it’s okay since they have less than 15k on the plugs since changing.
So now it’s all over but my wallet crying and getting her back later this week.

I went the cheap route. Replaced the factory breather with this union and 1/4" hose. Ran the hose up the filler neck as far as I could and zip tied it where needed. I left a 6" loop in the hose to allow full droop.

Nope, asked to them to check and they didn’t find anything, nothing even with uv light looking for trails.

 

Trail Grid pro responded today saying they will update there site to reflect the gas tank skids not suited for the 2010-2013 because of mounting is different to body...

Did my 35th oil change and, after extensive research, opted for 5W-30 Valvoline Extended. Perf. I will switch back to 0W-20 once it gets colder. Doing a 1000-mile road trip this weekend. I will see if it affects gas mileage, if any.
