Almost time to decorate for one of my favorite times of the year. This will be my 5th year to do it. I put them on late August - take them off ~Thanksgiving.

There are a lot of wandering eyes looking my way. I enjoy seeing everyone’s reaction when they see the skeletons.

*Picture from last year, please excuse the alley mess. -_-
**Not Pictured > two mini skeletons hanging onto the roof rack.

Cool photo. Do the instructions, if there even are any, come with a torque setting for the bolts, or is it just guttenteit?

A possible reference from the cruiser world - if you can figure out what the bolt is compared to the Toyota standards listed.

    https://www.tlacruiser.com/standard_bolt-206.html

Sigh... I miss the old print version repair manuals.

Going to buy the top drawer. Do you know if the bottom drawer contacts the manual 4x4 shifter when in 4lo?

    Hahah
Nope no instructions, just a sticker. So I googled 10.9 m12/1.25 torque (but that’s as high as 125ftlbs which I did not get to).
    Essentially they’re guttenteit

If you average out all the M12x1.25 torque specs for all the applications in this chart, it comes out to 74.5 average. 73ish was also mentioned for that same LC bolt in another application on the Cruiser, so that's probably a safe bet.

Agreed. Before I got curious and fiddled away an hour or two of my life on the internet, I figured I'd probably crank them to 75-80 and call it good. Anecdotally, that seems to be what we're getting. 73-94ish.

I hope that is either a prank or a punishment from losing a bet. I hope no one did that to their truck on purpose.

Spent a 5 day vacation down at longboat key fl and i decided to drive the 4r( i mean why not). Its a 2200 mile drive round trip. Most of the drive down is i95, and it didnt do to bad. I averaged 18.9 mpg with averaging 70-85 mph.

Two thing i learned. I inflated my tires to 40psi which probably helped with mpg but it felt loose on uneven pavement. Also i absolutely hate the adaptive cruise control, its fucking junk. Oh yeah i bought a lower back pillow for the seat its great no back pain the entire way. Got back last night at 3am so today i cleaned the 4r(sand was everywhere)

Checked just now - I haven't driven it to put it in 4lo, but there seems to be plenty of clearance. You can pull out the left side of the drawer further to remove the drawer to the left. I'll check out the clearance next trip out.

Long time Tacoma owner. Wife had a 22 trail edition 4Runner. Changed up the vehicles a bit getting ready for a baby and now I’m in a 24 Pro in Underground. Been great so far! Super stoked to manage snagging a late 5th gen.
