Yes, that is exactly what I meant. You can zip tie it to the roof rack rails....if the bracket won't allow you to lay it on its side. Just mount it without the bracket.

Beautiful. Jealous of the speaker. The stock 4R sound system really sucks....

Took off the winter tires and put spring/summer/fall tires back on.

Clearly i buying all the wrong mods. Mine never include pry-tools. I need to step up my interior mod game.

They don't give out pry-tools to you fancy-boys that own Limited's! They probably assume (and rightfully so) that you Limited owners will spend more time in the day-care drop off lane than you'll spend modding or adding stuff onto your 4Runner.

I always find it surprising. Maybe I had a sucky speaker in last vehicle (honda SUV) but I find the 4runner sound system..good enough. Maybe its a whole lot of audiobooks/podcasts that I listen to, which admittedly don't need good high end sound.

My favorites are the orange ones that so many vendors are using. One came with my silicone license plate frame, so stepping up game shouldn't be necessary. The same one came with a couple other things I can't even remember.

After taking over my new-to-me 4R last month I fixed all the wrongs, missing bits and bobs like engine clips, broken second row 12V cover, and broken trailer plug connector. Found/installed missing cargo slide tray, Rad Rubber for missing engine splash guards, lil' paint touch up on some fender chips, Meguiars Scratch-X on the door pin stripes. Treated myself to blackout badging on liftgate chrome, black TRD shift and 4WD knobs for the chipped silver ones, and new floor mats n' cargo liners. Put LaminX on fogs for a day, but then decided to take it off. Anyways, practically good as new...now I can go mess things up on it my OWN self!

Well, you know what they say, if it was easy to get into Duke, they'd call it NC State...

Haha. I can't talk too much shit (or really any at all), my team got knocked out in the 2nd round. I'm a huge KU (Kansas Jayhawks) fan. We played like ass this year, and I'm shocked we got a 4th seed.

So tell me something...why do they have conference tournaments AFTER the season is ended? Why can't college basketball be like college football, and use their records at the end of the season, instead of going thru all this conference tournament nonsense? The conference games end, here are the final win/loss records, select the teams. My guess is it has to do with money, like most everything else?

While we are the topic of money. Anyone with ~ 2/2.5 inch of lift notice a change in the amount of time your RPMs go down after letting off the throttle? Like rev hang. Seemed to happen after the kit (or at least I noticed it after the kit was installed). OEM size tires. I posted a separate thread but didn’t get much action. TIA.

I haven't noticed anything like that. 2-2.5" lift and stock tires and wheels.

I recently went 2.7” in the front (6112 with b8) and 1.5” in the rear (5160 and b12) and haven’t noticed what you are describing. And I’m still OEM size, but with AT3s.

Pretty simple really. 20 minutes and done. It took about three months to get it though.
