97’ Tacoma 4x4 LX and at times I still miss it. I loved its simplicity, manual crank windows and all.

2016 F150 4X4 Crew Cab. It was actually a VERY GOOD truck (considering the model). Lot's of room (I could sleep on the flat floor in the rear with my back seats folded up). Did "okay" off road. I LOVED the 36 Gallon tank. I typically got 750-800 miles out of a single tank. Surprisingly, I had near-zero issues with this vehicle. It ran great. Never failed to start. Only things I ever had to do on it were two light bulbs (tail lights), and a stupid auto-carwash tangled in my wiper blades and yanked them so hard it bent the linkage, so I had to replace the linkage arms.

Ecoboost V6 w/ Dual Turbos. LOTS of power. 22.5 MPG average over it's 5.5 year span with me. 218K miles when I traded it for my new 4Runner.

FIVE Things I liked better about the F150... 1. Aforementioned fuel tank and range and the larger storage/roominess. 2.No fuel cap. 3. Combo lock on the front driver's door. Can't tell you the number of times I left my key inside, and just needed to open the door. LoL. 4. It was a truck. With a Bed. I could haul much more stuff. 5. I could lock my rear differential in 2H and 4H.

FIVE Things I like better about my new 4Runner... 1. It's a 4Runner. 'nuff said. 2. Easier to park. The F150 had the turning radius of a Conestoga wagon. Add the large size, it was a beast to park in a parking garage. 3. MUCH better Off-Road. 4. Historical reliability. If I got 200K+ out of a Ford, I should get half-a-million + out of the 4Runner!. 5. I can store/haul things inside the vehicle. I'm a weekend musician and haul very expensive equipment around. SUV format is much nicer.

Much better seats and visibility, plus opens up a new world with it's capabilities.

2017 Subaru Outback Limited. Have seen a ton Outback owners lifting their rides and always wondered, why didnt they just buy a truck !!! So after several un-resolved issues with the outback, sold it and now I have an incredible ride.

I rotated out most of my older vehicles , my local dealer was a Toyota / GMC dealer and was chasing me for my 2019 GMC 3500 Denali diesel was a OK truck had it 3 years paid 66k for it and got a trade value of 78k after using it for 3yrs , last summer I hauled over 250k lbs in dirt and rocks but had a bed insert so bed and rest of the truck looked brand new .
Not a big GM fan but made out like a bandit , the dealer called me wanting my GMC said they had a 4runner pro someone ordered but backed out … we want your GMC Truck.
The truck just sat during the winters , was the best time to rotate it out , got the brand new 4runner pro , got trade credit on the new so no tax , got sucked into a extended but 8yrs / 100k toyota platinum 1100 bucks , so I took a big check too boot .
Been getting more use out of the 4runner so far , my other vehicles with the exception of the back up truck sit in the winter , we get all the salt and brime crap , breaks my heart to drive a brand new truck in this carp but its the easiest to clean .

The Labor Day weekend wreck miraculously didn't injure me with even a cut. My passenger had some abrasions and a possible concussion. He was treated and released that night. He was cut up from the glass and bruised up. We both were buckled in and the seatbelts and airbags saved our lives. Gil

My 2021 Trail replaced my 2008 V8 Sport 4R. My youngest daughter had driven it a lot for work so when she went to Vet School in Columbia MO she needed a ride so I gave it to her. I resisted right up until the end but she loved the truck and had even named it "Victoria". I miss the V8 power and the subtle exhaust rumble - it was an great Hwy cruiser and would effortlessly do 70-80 all day long. I ended up with a brand new 4R in my favorite color - so I'm good.

22 sport replaced a 13 Tacoma SR5. Dogs are much happier with the new ride and with the used market the way it was I was able to turn a profit on the Tacoma which was beginning to scare me due to rust.

Not to be mister gloom and doom but it is never good to post this type of information to the masses. These are the types of questions lenders and financial institutions ask to prove your identity. The more details you provide the worse it is.

A long line of Toyota including a Supra in the 80's (pre-digital photography here, and I can't find a picture to scan), a 4Runner in the 90's, a 2010 Tacoma, a 2018 Tacoma, to a new 2022 4Runner. First tank fill of gas this evening. All my Toyota were/are a dark gray, currently named MGM, but in prior life called something Anthracite.

Dumped a 2021 Willys with 500 miles on carvana after 5 major issues Paint bubbling on 5 hinges, engine knock they could not fix with the 2.0l, steering issues that couldn’t be fixed and an electrical shut down while driving and an e torque battery issue it was a death trap. I replaced it with a 2021 SR5P and could not be happier. It cost me $600 to do it because of this crazy market. I will never buy an FCA car again total shit.
