Bought a taco in 2019, traded it for a tundra trd pro in may, then got the call on my 4runner in august so traded the tundra for my 4runner.

I guess i bought all of the cars I considered only to arrive at the 4runner anyway.

Why not the 700 hp 650 torque Ram TRX? It has the supercharged Hemi ;)

There is no engine in this world that sounds like an American V8! And the Hemi growl is awesome, as much as you step on it, as better is sounds, it is inviting you to give it more, lol.

Lol, I remember those cardboard 2 cyl 2 stroke rolling piles of junk, east german cars. Every fillup you had to put 2 stroke oil in the tank, and the fuel gauge was a stick... Barely hit 80Km/hr which is about 50 mph... Communism treasures, but otherwise quite reliable, mainly due to the reduced weight. I think my mower wheels are just a tad smaller than Trabant's ones.

Cleveland RnR hall of fame museum has a bunch of those junkers hanging from the ceiling.

Defender. Loved the car, but couldn't get over the reliability issues. Had a deposit down on a Bronco as well, but had an Explorer a few years ago that also had reliability issues. In short, Yota for life lol

Don't blame me, I voted for Trump.
I was stationed in Germany when the Berlin Wall came down, not long after you would come upon one of these Trabants on the autobahn going like 40 mph with the whole family in it..everyone esle going 70-100 mph..moving chicane!

I wanted to buy a Jeep Cherokee XJ (1984-2001), preferably an older one with the chrome grill like the Laredo. I didn't get one because they were hard to find in California (surprisingly), the values were already going up beyond what I was willing to pay, it was very difficult finding a 4x4 manual (manual was a requirement) that wasn't beat to shit or modified, and my parents didn't like the safety or reliability of that era of Jeep.

I also wanted a first gen Nissan pathfinder, they were reliable but the safety thing was still something. There was a 4x4 manual 1 owner 2dr pathfinder posted on Craigslist recently, it cost only 3k and it had all the documentation. I feel like first gen pathfinders are criminally under rated. I'd of scooped it up if I had a spot to store it, it was a bargain.

Bronco, put an order in today for a Badlands/Sasquatch. If dealerships in my area weren’t charging 4k-7k over MSRP for a ORP or 20K+ for a TRD Pro I would have definitely went with the 4 runner. I still may change if prices come down. I’m in Delaware by the way. Just going to wait this thing out and if I happen to get a Bronco in the near future (next year) at MSRP great. I’ll possibly get the Gen 6 4 runner after if I don’t like the Bronco. Crazy times we are living in.

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
Dodge Challenger or Charger 6 cylinder AWD. I actually really wanted the Challenger, but after my Jeep Liberty's transmission crapped out for the second time at less than 82,000 miles and the history of other repairs to it and my dad's Jeeps, I swore off Chrysler.

Kia Stinger AWD. I never 100% decided on the engine. No, really. But when my Liberty failed so spectacularly for the final time, I got scared and wanted all reliability all the time. I also wasn't a big fan of the Stinger's BMW sort of focus. Did the world really need another douchey BMW or Benz? If they positioned it against the lower spec American muscle cars and the lower end Japanese sports cars like the 86 or the Z with pricing and less fancy styling to match, I would have probably given it a shot. Instead Kia continues to chase the fancy dollar. "Oh, this year we're going to increase the base model's price by $3,000." Kia, you're Kia. Compete smart or don't compete at all.

Yeah that TRX looks like so much fun. And there is no sound better than an All American old school V8. If money and space were no issue I probably would try that. But Daimler or now Stellantis quality is less than stellar. Gosh though that looks like such a fun truck!!

I liked the Raptor with the V8 also but while the new V6 though is probably great is just not as cool. An electric noise exhaust is just not the same.

Went to the Post Office in my little town of 1200 last week and parked out front was a Hennessy VelociRaptor F150 with custom plates that said "CLVRGRL". It was cool!

I was shocked to find out they go for around $150k.

I ended up searching youtube and saw few real road runners, and yes, the noise is not even close to the Bullitt ones. You made me curious, lol. I was wondering if both Charger and Road Runner had the same 7 liter hemi. The "double burp" could be Hollywood trying to fake a double clutch? Although he seemed to upshift not downshift... Hollywood BS, lol.

Anyways, as I know, Bullitt was the first movie that really had extended car chases (which was a record at the time) and filming was done in real location and no studio (or minimal - do not remember for sure). I wish I would have a classic bog block car of that era (side of points - which there are plenty kits to replace them). If you didn't yet, take a look at VGG garage on youtube, he does a bunch of those old cars revivals.

That was the Big Mule for me. I preferred the original early Broncos 1966 -1977. I had a 77 and a 76. V8 302". That 77 Ford Bronco Ranger was my favorite vehicle that I ever owned. Bought in 1983 when I was 21 years old and stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. Lots of good memories in that little beast of a vehicle!

My Dad worked at the plant which built the Bronco and which now builds the new one ironically. I have a lot of cool memories as a kid getting tours inside the factory and also Dad bringing home those cool rides for a night or two that were randomly selected to get driven before delivery.

I remember they had a few of those little Mules on display back in 1984 for a family day.
